@protoxertz @ExitLag @kRuvane3 @theallinpodcast @Doublelift1 and by guarentee, I mean that with the assumption that it's your connection and the first hop that is lossy, and not somewhere else in the network (which can happen all the time due to dynamic bgp rules).

your computer <-> TCP <-> Their server <-> UDP <-> riot
+
your computer <-> UDP <-> riot

So 2+ packets are set each time, so at best, your packet arrives first to riot, and at worst (lost packet) the TCP connection will guarentee the delivery.
