@BobKillman52@DLand91 The IRL was created in 1994, a lot has changed. Prototyping and manufacturing have changed exponentially. Cottage industries can grow by having more manufactures. It also drives down the price through competition. Team charters should have the option to build their own car.
@BobKillman52@DLand91 Technology has changed so much in the last 10 years. You can literally download Solidworks and create a car in the computer. Parts can be made by sending a DXF files to a cnc machine. 3d printers are a common place. As long as your car passes the crash test your good.
Rescuers couldn’t believe their eyes when a dog swam toward them, with an entire possum family clinging to his back.
During a flood rescue, crews were moving through the rising water, checking homes and helping families get to safety. Most people had already been evacuated, but rescuers were still watching for pets and animals left behind.
That’s when they saw a dog paddling toward the boat.
At first, they thought he was alone. Then they looked closer. He had a momma possum gently held in his mouth, while several more tiny possums clung to his back, soaked and shaking as he fought through the water.
Rescuers pulled him into the boat first, then carefully lifted each possum off him one by one. Nobody knows how the dog found them or why he decided to help, but one thing was clear. He had been swimming with them for a long time.
Rescuers went out looking for survivors, and found a dog who had become a lifeboat for a family smaller than his own.
Ollie Millroy delivers an emotional message to thank Loek Hartog for saving his life yesterday in Shanghai, China.
"I am still alive tonight, entirely thanks to one man; Loek Hartog stopped instantly with no flag marshalls or fire crews in sight, and risked his own life to get me out of the car.
"I don’t remember anything between 30 seconds before the crash and 1 hour after it, but I will remember his incredible act of bravery for the rest of my life. One day I will tell our three kids this story and Loek will be the biggest superhero in history in their eyes too."
"I’m laying here tonight with 5 broken ribs, broken collar bone, broken hand and finger and a bruised lung, but it could have been much worse. Thank you Loek. I owe you my life for your selfless act today."

🔧🏆 From unemployed to 450 Pro Motocross championship-winning mechanic.
Cameron Camera’s road to the top with Hunter Lawrence is pretty wild when you zoom out.
When Factory Connection shut its doors, Cameron suddenly had no job. His wife was pregnant, he was scrambling for work, and he says he was basically going door-to-door looking for anything that would keep him in racing. 😳
Then the phone rang. 📞
Honda needed a mechanic for Hunter Lawrence.
Funny enough, Cameron actually missed the first call because he was busy cleaning out the old Factory Connection shop. Christien Ducharme finally told him:
“You need to answer the freaking phone.” 😂
Cameron called back, got the opportunity and basically told them he’d be there the next day.
Fast-forward a few years... 🏁
That same mechanic who didn’t know where his next job was coming from is now standing beside Hunter Lawrence as a 450 Pro Motocross champion. 🏆🔴
Pretty incredible how quickly a career can change when the opportunity finally comes.
@TotalMotorcycle I have an Alligator. The stopping ability is incredible. You sit 18" off the ground keeping mass down low. It looks like these guys both panicked. The one guy almost made it around the truck. Lucky, they both look like they walked away. Slow down there's no trophy waiting for you
@TotalMotorcycle Took all the lights blinkers and oil injection off, then went to the Orange County Fairgrounds Moto Swap meet, got a down pipe expansion chamber a good set of knobbies and this bike went pretty fast.
@BuzzPatterson Here's a happier story. I hope you don't mind Buzz. My father wanted to be a fighter pilot before becoming a race car driver. This is my dad interviewing his good friend Russ Schleeh.
