@DOTS_UMD The service you use for NITE Ride (@TransLoc) may be a good candidate. Already installed on many student devices, drivers are already familiar, and it has support for all sorts of features NextBus never offered.

@InsideTheMagic There is a significant amount of misinformation we feel you must correct. There was a controlled stoppage Saturday on Skyrush. Per our protocols, our maintenance team was on site to restart the trains. There was never any potential injury to guests. Normal operations resumed.

The original goal of $500 per vehicle is on track, excluding batteries. But it's tricky choosing where to use steel and where to use wood. Of course the prototype will help determine what was correct and what should be swapped.

Going through the process of designing my dark ride vehicle, it's a really fun game of balancing budgets and design. 4x4 is a good sized platform. But fitting a motor, transaxle, guide wheel, and 2.4kWh of battery storage, it starts to feel small!
