Sorry to have been so quiet today but did not have the mental strength to post properly. Spent the day thinking of the situation of the dogs and how I've failed them 💔😪. Our hospital fundraiser is doing very badly and it's truly broken me. Knowing that as we speak dogs are being shot or poisoned on the streets. I think what broke me was the fact that how unfair the rescue world is, with some organisations having have no issues raising funds, millions are thrown their way, whilst we struggle, having to constantly beg, day in and day out. Anyways I have faith and one day we will build, just hurts to know that by then thousands will have lost their lives. To them I say please forgive me, for I really tried. Truly if it meant me giving my life to save you, I would 💔😪.
So leaving you tonight with myself at the best place in the world, our sanctuary 💖

A woman says she repeatedly begged her neighbors to stop leaving their 2-year-old Goldendoodle, Rocco, chained outside in the Texas heat for 10 to 15 hours a day without water or shade.

She says she called animal control and even offered to take him in, but her help was refused. The dog later died, and she has now started a petition calling for his owners to be held accountable. "It is imperative that local authorities pursue this case to ensure justice for Rocco," the petition reads.
