@_TheMizzouTiger Had some really nice corn take hail damage, I think my beans were protected because the weeds are so tall to take the blow. What looked so promising doesn't anymore in my neighborhood. Can't spray, cant get enough drying days together to do hay. Things can sure change in a hurry
@JerodMcDaniel@jasonmauck1 Same, except rye. Have October pairs on one piece, my yet to do it May and June calvers on another. Probably plant beans in a couple weeks. Maybe another forage crop. Basically just making the neighbors shake their head at me. But I'm not a very good Iowa farmer anyway.
@mopaksus I started on an open station Hesston 6400. Every bug, seed, chaff, ounce of pollen floated right on you. If you mowed 5 minutes you just as well make a day of it because you were going to itch and swat at yourself the rest of the day anyway
Man cave, shop, beer items from my FIL's collection. Several signs, glasses lights, keg taps, lots of advertising. Check out https://t.co/ecN53jPccr for the May 9th, online Auction and they ship.
@DryCedarFarms I missed why you picked that time, but I remembered you did it and said consistency is the key. It's just not many of us feed at 230AM on purpose!
@jason_nosajdeff@angrycowboy1 My wife's first bottle baby. Married in 02, so born a year or 2 of then Prob not even 1000#, calf every year, calves finish at 1450+, only 2 hfr calves, still a perfect udder at 20+yo, should have never been kept, wish I had 200 of her! She's getting tired, may finally be open.
@agtradertalk Scoopin the loop. Around the town square, mile and a half west, drive through Hardee's parking lot, turn right go back to the square, loop around again and again. Occasionally take the inside lanes of the square to chat.
