🚨 Bitstamp Europe has published a MiCA whitepaper for $FLR, bringing @FlareNetworks into Europe's new regulatory framework for crypto.. 🤯
This is the kind of regulatory groundwork needed for crypto assets to operate in a more regulated market in Europe. 🇪🇺
Another important piece of the puzzle quietly falling into place..
The infrastructure is being built & the regulatory rails are being built at the same time. 👏
FXRP/RLUSD on @Morpho – 9 days in
Launched on August 3 with a small starting limit inside Sentora’s RLUSD vault, which was then ~$280M.
Today:
Around $5M borrowed against FXRP
89% utilization, zero liquidations (!)
The vault itself is now ~$314M.
XRP holders are actually borrowing RLUSD while keeping their exposure.
Still early days, but the product is working and the risk side looks clean so far.
Need testers for Sotto — confidential payroll on @FlareNetworks.
Here's the problem: paying contractors on-chain exposes salaries, headcount, vendor relationships forever. Here's the fix: seal a batch encrypted to the tee, fund it with ONE transaction (chain sees aggregate only), contractors claim gaslessly against an enclave signature. auditors get a view key, see every line, verify it reconciles live against coston2.
Why it matters: privacy isn't obfuscation — it's cryptography. the vault only honors signatures from this extension. The browser encrypts to a key the chain publishes. No trust required. Auditors read everything from the blockchain

ProofRails is launching a Flare mainnet beta for paid APIs and AI agents.
An x402 payment can now return more than access to an API result: it can automatically produce a receipt linking the settlement to what was delivered, with finance-readable artifacts, signed evidence and a verifiable onchain commitment.
The hosted beta currently powers ProofRails’ own payment-gated APIs. API owners selling premium data or actions to software and AI agents can adopt the same workflow through a scoped integration or self-hosted deployment, accepting payments in USD₮0 while generating records that machines and humans can operate on.
Within this flow, Flare does more than record the payment. The same network also carries the public commitment to the evidence linking that payment to what was delivered.
Developers can test the x402 client flow, add this workflow to an existing API business, or start a new self-hosted service here: https://t.co/Amh9y1ygVh

In this video, I'm going over the @FlareNetworks Confidential Compute (TEEs).
We have guides on how to get started, handle private keys, and interact with APIs like @OpenWeatherMap with TEEs on our @FlareDevHub
P.S. There is an intriguing video coming about TEEs, x402, and AI agents.
FIP.16 ties real network activity to FLR.
FIRE is where you can see it start to show up: mint fees, tags, and more over time.
What data do you want on this dashboard?

I understand the pessimism of people that are not at the coal face everyday. A few things:
1) We are in a bear market for BTC and a deep bear market for alts. Flare has been inline with this - evidenced through consistency in CMC rankings the entire time.
2) I made some projections for FXRP size last year that were based on Firelight fully launching early this year, together with institutional participation. Bullish markets are like oxygen in this industry - when markets are buoyant everyone moves quickly and deals get done fast but when markets are weak no one wants to spend money and making deals happen is like wading through tar. Both things will happen but the bear market together with a host of other things have made players in the industry move more slowly.
3) There is more going on with Flare than at any point in the past. There are more users and thanks to FSA far greater distribution. FXRP remains the standard by which to deploy XRP and earn on it. We hope to replicate the same with FBTC. Growth has been slower than desired but everything is in place for when the broader market turns around.
4) Internally we are getting far higher inbounds both for immediate FXRP usecases, enquiries around utilising FBTC and perhaps most interestingly - other uses that Flare can offer. People want to use Flare not just for FXRP & FBTC - there is real demand for its data and privacy capabilities. We are building things in response to demand in areas that we had previously dismissed as far too hard to compete in - directly led by demand. These things will consolidate Flare’s position as a superior data network and that of FXRP as the preeminent version of XRP across chains. Potentially this will also apply to FBTC.
5) From DeFi for non smart contract tokens, to data, to compute and privacy Flare offers one of the best platforms out there for building great things. We build for the future of finance and AI that is coming.
When the broader market turns around Flare will be very well placed to capitalise on it.
With FIP16 in place the benefits to the community of that turn around will compound far more.

Related to the KWeather and @FlareNetworks announcement, I have been working on something very interesting: integrating Flare Confidential Compute (TEE) + X402 to pay USDT0 for API usage and use that with an AI agent on the web or MCP.
It truly comes together. Get any data on-chain via a TEE machine and attest it.
Soon I will open source this.
It’s time to kick it into high gear for the next 3 years.
Crypto is maturing FAST. Total market cap is ~$2.6T today, and could reach $10T–$25T by 2030. But, many tokens won’t make it. Probably more than you think.
Not in the top 50 by 2030? Expect thinner liquidity, no institutional flows, no attention, and ultimately no survival. Sure, they’ll flounder for a few years, but ultimately, people will migrate to proven utility leaders, and lower ranked projects will fade to irrelevance.
Real utility will finally win out.
Flare has the ingredients: embedded oracles (FTSO), FAssets, FDC, FCC, and more. They’re literally the blockchain for data in a world exploding with AI, RWAs, and cross-chain demand.
But these next 3 years are critical. Scale and adoption is a MUST.
I know what you’re thinking, “We’ll hit 5B fXRP by then so we’re good.”
Even with 5B fXRP, it’s not enough. Flare will need fBTC, fDOGE, fXLM, and more. They’ll need FCC, FSA’s, FIRE, and EVERYTHING hitting on all 8 cylinders. Why? Because others will quickly add similar products to capture market share. Many top 50 projects are already moving at lightning speed.
My suggestion: DO WHATEVER IT TAKES, NOW!
Execute relentlessly. Scale fAssets adoption MASSIVELY. Partner with exchanges. Raise capital. Ship. Attract devs and institutions. Tap into U.S. capital markets. Whatever it takes.
The window is now. Builders who deliver undeniable utility in the next 3 years will OWN the next decade. Flare can absolutely be one of them.
I remain hopeful.

Vaults are how we bridge the gap between tokenized assets and DeFi.
Destination tags are a bigger deal than people realize.
With FAssets v1.3, XRP can move through familiar XRP payment rails, mint FXRP on Flare, and become usable in XRPFi.
This changes how XRP enters DeFi.
