Alex Reads Tarot shocked her audience this week by announcing she was walking away from tarot readings, deleting all of her content, and dedicating her life to her Christian faith.

The creator—who was even name-dropped in a Hayley Williams song last year—had built a massive following before making the life-changing announcement.

In an emotional farewell video, she told followers that "Jesus Christ has saved my life" and revealed she'd spent the past year praying, reflecting, and questioning the path she was on.

She initially told fans the video would be her "final post" and that once the account was gone, she "will not be returning."

But after her announcement exploded across social media—and her follower count dropped by more than 30,000—Alex returned with one more video.

"I didn't think I was gonna make another video," she admitted, explaining that she felt compelled to speak again following the overwhelming response.

The creator has also deleted all of her tarot reading videos, ended her paid readings, and says she's now focused entirely on her relationship with God.

Then, without warning, she nuked her social media accounts, deleted all her videos, changed her handle to 'Alex in the Ordinary,' changed her look, and announced in an emotional testimony that she's become a Christian as a result of Christ calling her to Himself.

She is clear: “Jesus Christ has saved my life.”

She notes that once the account is gone, she will not be making any more social media content, but rather will be stepping out of the spotlight to pursue her good God and Savior and His call on her life.

This happened when @JonmarkBaker confronted Brian Simmons about his claim that Jesus Himself appeared to him and commissioned him to produce a "translation" full of deception and fabrications.

This happened when Nathaniel and Haley were accused of "setting a trap" for fake prophet Gary Morgan by confirming the fact that he was data mining from facebook.

Instead of answering the evidence, these people gaslight you into thinking you just don't believe that God moves and works supernaturally.

The problem isn't their deception, the problem is your "unbelief."

But I think people are waking up.

I think people are saying, "No, we believe in God...we just don't believe in you."

God does amazing, supernatural things today.

But God does not ask us to surrender our ability to think critically and use common sense.

Yet another bomb dropping on The Passion Translation.

Brian Simmons claimed his work was under rigorous review by scholars. It was not. A scholar who he had on that team speaks out that he had no editorial role or power.

In my view, these scholars (who are largely unidentified in spite of requests for transparency) were there for appearances and weren’t brought in till late in the process, to provide a surface level response to very valid criticisms that Brian was the chief architect of this translation and not subject to thoughtful scholarly process.
