This is a short video message from me as an Indian Kashmiri Muslim on the completion of one year of PAHALGAM TERROR ATTACK orchestrated by 3 Pakistani Punjabi Muslim terrorists affiliated with "The Resistance Front" or TRF, a Kashmir valley focused proxy of Pakistani Punjab province headquartered and internationally designated terrorist organization of LASHKAR-E-TOIBA.

The Pehalgam terror attack was carried out by Pakistani terrorist organizations in the name of Islam, Jihad and Kashmir's so-called "freedom" struggle. Religious profiling was central to the manner in which these Pakistani Punjabi Muslim terrorists carried out these killings wherein they ordered tourists from different parts of India enjoying scenic beauty of Baisaran valley of Kashmir's Pahalgam to recite Islamic Kalma to segregate Non Muslim tourists from Muslim tourists. They even assured the Muslim identity of tourists by ordering them to open their pants to see if they were circumcised or not.

The end result was that 25 tourists, all men, out of which 24 were Hindus & Buddhists from India and Nepal and one was a Christian from South India, were gunned down mercilessly in front of their female family members and children. A massacre driven by Pakistan's extreme and toxic Hindu hatred.

It is also important to mention here that these Pakistani Punjabi Muslim terrorists were supported on ground by 3 other local Indian Muslim residents of Kashmir's Pehalgam. These three Indian Muslim residents were however NOT ETHNIC KOSHUR SPEAKING KASHMIRI MUSLIMS but belonged to Non Kashmiri Muslim communities of Pehalgam.

The tourists who were killed were guests of Kashmir and the state of Pakistan by targetting these innocent Hindu, Buddhist and Christian tourists in the name of Islam and so called Kashmir Jihad on the soil of India's Kashmir valley portrayed us Indian Kashmiri Muslims as heartless, radical and extremist blood thirsty hate driven Muslims.

Despite the fact that a section of Kashmiri Muslim community continues to be brainwashed by Pakistan's toxic anti-Hindu and extreme Hindu hatred driven anti-India terror campaign, a vast majority of Indian Kashmiri Muslims were repulsed by Pakistani terror attack in Pehalgam and they unequivocally condemned the same and came out on streets of India's Kashmir valley to protest against the state of Pakistan.

The state of Pakistan, especially its Punjabi Muslim ruling elite has blood in its hands. The three decades of terrorism that the stats of Pakistan orchestrated in India's Kashmir valley sent an entire generation of Kashmiri Muslims in their graves.

But not anymore.

Pakistan's mischief will no longer be tolerated. My prayers are with the families of the Pahalgam terror attack. I stand with them. Kashmir stands with them. Our entire nation stands with them.

Until then, it said, the public (of PoJK)would remain "his voice" and carry forward his mission, adding that the movement would emerge stronger despite the arrest and that "ultimately, victory will belong to the people (of PoJK) and defeat to tyranny, arrogance and the exploitative system (of Pakistan and its puppets in PoJK)."

The arrest of Shaukat Nawaz Mir comes in the backdrop of recent bloody crackdown by the state of Pakistan and its puppet administration and puppet police in PoJK Rawalakot town where the JKJAAC had been holding a sit-in outside the Combined Military Hospital Rawalakot.

The brutal Pakistan state crackdown came as the local puppet PoJK government and the JKJAAC witnessed a face-off, as the election date for the local puppet assembly of PoJK was announced for July 27.

PoJK's 53-member legislative assembly includes 12 seats reserved for Kashmiri refugees — people who supposedly fled from India's erstwhile state of J&K in 1947 and 1965 and are now scattered across Pakistan.

Six seats represent refugees from the Jammu division (~434,000 people) and six from the Kashmir Valley (~30,000 people) — an already lopsided arrangement that many people in PoJK see as unfair.

The region witnessed one of its most turbulent periods in October last year in 2025 when protests led by the JKJAAC erupted over demands for constitutional and governance reforms. Many people were killed during the unrest.

The JKJAAC, which organised the protests and strike, had presented a wide-ranging charter of demands, including an end to the privileges enjoyed by the ruling elite, the abolition of 12 assembly seats reserved for refugees, and the scrapping of the quota system.

Two days after the violence, the government and JKJAAC reached an agreement covering 12 Core and 13 additional points. Under the accord, both sides agreed to constitute a high-level committee to examine the issue of refugee seats in the puppet PoJK legislative assembly.

The issue of reservation for refugee seats once again came into prominence after the elections for PoJK assembly were announced last month, which led to a brutal Pakistan state crackdown on protesting members of JKJAAC in Rawalakot.

The situation in PoJK remains tense after the local puppet government of PoJK banned the JKJAAC upon orders of its Punjabi Muslim bosses sitting in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, with the JKJAAC continuing its sit-in and vowing to sustain the protest until its demands are met.

The million dollar question is that - Are the 1.4 billion people of India willing to support the oppressed people of PoJK, whom we consider as INDIANS living under illegal occupation of Pakistan since 1947.

If YES, then what are we willing to do for them ?

SHAUKAT NAWAZ MIR - TOP LEADER OF JK-JAAC FROM PoJK ARRESTED BY PAKISTAN:

No one in India including in some of the so called "top" Indian think tanks and intelligence wings of different Indian agencies and not even 100% of ethnic Koshur speaking Kashmiri Muslim community of India's Kashmir Valley know or have heard about this man - SHAUKAT NAWAZ MIR, whose arrest by the state of Pakistan has exacerbated an already worst situation in Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), which the state of Pakistan calls - "Azad Kashmir".

Ethnically a non-Koshur speaking Kashmiri Muslim, SHAUKAT NAWAZ MIR belongs to ethnic Pahari Pothwari Muslim community of PoJK, which is culturally, ethnically and linguistically closer to DOGRA HINDU community of Jammu region than to Koshur speaking Kashmiri Muslim community of India's Kashmir Valley.

He is the TOP MOST POLITICAL LEADER in PoJK, who heads PoJK's most powerful non-political organization called Jammu and Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JKJAAC), an agglomeration and umbrella organisation of local social, religious, trade bodies, lawyers forum and student organizations of PoJK.

THE STATE OF PAKISTAN HAS BANNED JKJAAC and declared it as "enemy of Pakistan".

SHAUKAT NAWAZ MIR was arrested two days ago in Dhirkot Tehsil in Bagh District of PoJK that borders POONCH district of India's Jammu region of the UT of J&K. Bagh was earlier part of the undivided POONCH region of the former princely state of Jammu and Kashmir.

SHAUKAT NAWAZ MIR was arrested in Dhirkot during a joint operation carried out by the district administration of PoJK and police of PoJK based on intelligence information. It is important to add that the local government, local administration and local police of PoJK are on payrolls of Islamabad and are often seen as "puppets" of Pakistan, rather than genuine representatives of the people of Kashmirs of PoJK.

The official social media handle of JKJAAC also confirmed Shaukat Nawaz Mir's detention in a statement, saying fellow member Saib Javed had also been arrested. It described the two as campaigners for "the people's rights, justice and a better future" (of the people of PoJK).

The "puppet" administration and "puppet" police of PoJK alleged that Shaukat Nawaz Mir and his group was arrested while attempting to reach an ongoing sit-in in Dhirkot in PoJK, claiming that a combing operation involving intelligence agencies, police, and other institutions of PoJK led to his detention before he could join the protest.

In a separate statement, the social media handle of JKJAAC said that Shaukat Nawaz Mir, who has been evading arrest for the past few weeks and was underground felt that his
presence at the sit-in would significantly boost the morale of participants in Dhirkot. The JKJAAC further added that the arrest of a single leader would not weaken their movement.

"One voice can be suppressed, but not resolve. One person can be arrested, but not the movement," it added.

The social media handle of JKJAAC said Shaukat Nawaz Mir was not alone and claimed the entire Kashmiri community (of PoJK) stood with him, expressing confidence that "victory will be for justice".

Urging supporters not to lose heart, the social media handle of JKJAAC said that public movements did not depend on any single individual.

"This is not just Shaukat Nawaz Mir's movement, nor solely that of the core members. This is the movement of the entire public (of PoJK)."

The JAAC added that arrests, raids, imprisonment, and sacrifices had historically been part of public movements, expressing confidence that Shaukat Nawaz Mir would soon return to the people of PoJK.

DRAMA OVER KASHMIR !

As an Indian Kashmiri Muslim, I take very serious objection to this so called "Letter of Peace" signed by over 100 "dignitaries" from India and Pakistan pressing for "resumption of dialogue between India and Pakistan" in so far as its reference to:

(a) Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) and

(b) Pakistan Occupied Gilgit and Baltistan.

As far as former princely state of Jammu and Kashmir is concerned, THERE IS NOTHING TO DISCUSS WITH PAKISTAN, except the return of PoGB and PoJK back to India and merging them with the UTs of Ladakh and J&K, respectively.

Either the state of Pakistan returns, back the territories of PoJK and PoGB peacefully to India or wait for the time, when India will take back these territories of the former princely state of Jammu and Kashmir from the illegal occupation of Pakistan.

The letter is pressed for re-opening of Srinagar - Muzaffarabad (PoJK) and Kargil - Skardu (PoGB) land routes. This is impliedly based on the assumption that INDIA HAS ACCEPTED LoC AS DE FACTO INTERNATIONAL BORDER and with that India has impliedly also accepted Pakistan's rights over both PoJK and PoGB.

The letter further mentions the resumption of discussions on Jammu and Kashmir including revisiting the framework negotiated between 2004 and 2007.

It is important to add that crux of those "negotiations" on Kashmir between 2004 and 2007 was ACCEPTANCE OF LoC AS INTERNATIONAL BORDER and accepting the sovereignty of the state of Pakistan over PoJK and PoGB.

I REJECT THIS VEHEMENTLY.

India will never ever compromise with its sovereignty over PoJK and PoGB.

India's sovereignty integrity remains incomplete, tainted and compromised till the regions of PoGB and PoJK are merged back with India.

Any suggestion that asks for "peace" at the cost of compromising with India's sovereign right over PoJK and PoGB is UNACCEPTABLE.

India does not want peace with Pakistan that comes at the price of handing over PoGB and PoJK to Pakistan.

The signatories to this letter from India should have advocated for the return of PoJK and PoGB to India, rather than urging us to indirectly accept a status quo that effectively recognises Pakistan's claimed sovereignty over these territories.

I REJECT THIS LETTER.

SIA OFFICERS, WHO INVESTIGATED SARLA BHAT RAPE & MURDER CASE & PREPARED CHARGESHEET IN THE CASE !

The investigation of SARLA BHAT rape & murder case was led under the supervision of senior IPS officer Nitish Kumar, presently ADG CID/SIA, Jammu and Kashmir.

The crucial investigative work and a substantial part of the field investigation was spearheaded by Tahir Ashraf Bhatti, ( @Tahir_A ) a highly decorated 2004-batch JKPS officer and the present Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), SIA Kashmir. A distinguished son of the soil, he played an instrumental role in the investigation by personally leading extensive field inquiries, going door to door in search of crucial witnesses, gathering and corroborating evidence, and painstakingly reconstructing the factual matrix of the case with the objective of building a legally sustainable and watertight prosecution.

He is widely credited with meticulously unravelling the alleged conspiracy, coordinating critical aspects of the investigation, and leading the preparation of the comprehensive chargesheet that now forms the foundation of the prosecution's case before the Special Court. His diligence, analytical approach, and unwavering commitment were instrumental in converting decades of scattered evidence into a coherent and legally tenable case.

An equally significant contribution was made by Divya Dev, ( @DivyaDev_ips ) a 2018-batch IPS officer serving as Superintendent of Police, SIA, who also played a vital role in the investigation. Originally from Tamil Nadu, she contributed significantly to the case through her methodical evaluation of the evidence, careful examination of investigative material, and supervision of key aspects of the case documentation.

As part of the investigation, J&K Police teams also visited Tihar Jail more than once to interrogate Yasin Malik.

The investigating team also traced and questioned nurses who had served at SKIMS during 1989–1990 and interviewed journalists who had closely covered the terrorism in Kashmir during that period.

Many potential witnesses, now elderly, had to be personally located and approached by senior SIA officers who took on the task of earning their confidence, convincing and reassuring them to come forward and extending support to the Kashmiri Hindu Pandit victim families, whose cooperation proved viral to the investigation.

Wounded JKLF terrorists, injured in encounters with security forces, were frequently brought to SKIMS for treatment. Sarla Bhat, as a nurse in the hospital, was exposed to their presence. JKLF's top terrorists grew increasingly paranoid that a Kashmiri Hindu Pandit nurse at SKIMS might pass information about injured terrorists to police or intelligence agencies. She was threatened multiple times. She did not leave.

The incident that appears to have sealed her fate came when J&K Police, acting on intelligence, launched a raid at Narwara on 8th April 1990 targeting top JKLF operatives during which several terrorists were apprehended. Yasin Malik, who was present, spotted the police and escaped but was injured.
Yasin Malik then concluded it was a Kashmiri Hindu Pandit nurse who might have tipped off the police.

It was a conclusion with no evidentiary basis. The SIA chargesheet explicitly states that the allegation branding Sarla Bhat as an informer was "entirely false", a fabricated pretext manufactured to justify what was, in reality, a premeditated assassination. Her murder was part of JKLF's systematic campaign of targeted violence designed to spread fear among Kashmiri Hindu Pandits and create conditions for their forced displacement and exodus from the Valley.

The chargesheet names Yasin Malik alongside Khurshid Ahmad Chalkoo, identified as the man who pulled the trigger and three others: Abdul Hamid Sheikh, Mohammad Yousuf Sofi alias Idrees, and Ghulam Mohammad Taploo. The latter three are dead. Malik is currently in judicial custody in connection with a separate terror financing case in which he is serving a life sentence. Chalkoo is believed to have fled to Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir; proclamation proceedings against him have been initiated.

The investigation established that Ms. Sarla Bhat was last seen alive at SKIMS on 18 April 1990 at about 1430 hours and was subsequently abducted by JKLF terrorists. Eye witnesses and protected witnesses consistently stated that she was seen in the company of the accused near Buchpora Crossing, thereafter taken towards the illahibagh-Lal Bazar area, where she was brutally assaulted, dragged, tortured and ultimately shot dead with automatic rifle fire during the evening of 18 April 1990".

Yasin Malik’s men didn’t stop at raping and murdering the 27-year-old Kashmiri Hindu Pandit nurse Sarla Bhatt. They engraved the acronym ‘JKLF’ on her body, and mutilated it out of sheer contempt for her Hindu identity.

After that, they issued multiple warnings to her family against cremating her remains according to Hindu rituals. The family still went ahead with the cremation, defying the threats.

When they went to collect her cremated remains (asthi) later, a mob of around 200 ordinary Kashmiri Muslim civilians descended upon the crematorium and stomped over them. Her family managed to collect mere palmfull ash without her ASTHISE (mortal remains) and ran out of crematorium to escape death at the hands of the enraged mob of ordinary Kashmiri Muslim civilians. This mob was not of JKLF terrorists but ordinary Kashmiri Muslim civilians of my father’s generation, who shamelessly desecrated the remains of who they considered as "Hindu infidel traitor".

They didn’t even stop at that. They then bombed her family home with a grenade.

The filing of the chargesheet in the Sarla Bhat murder case is indeed a welcome step but unfortunately there is hardly any remorse amongst my father’s generation of Kashmiri Muslims who pushed Kashmir Valley into the vortex of hell for the next three decades.

MUHARRAM (ASHURA) IN PULWAMA !

Flash back to 2019.....

Pulwama district of India's Kashmir Valley attained notoriety, when in 2019, a terrorist holding allegiance to Pakistani Punjab province headquartered terrorist organization - Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) led by an ethnic Pakistani Punjabi Muslim terrorist - Maulana Masood Azhar martyred 40 soldiers of CRPF in a cowardly suicide attack.

Pulwama in 2026.....

7 years down the line, the same PULWAMA district of India's Kashmir Valley presents an entirely different picture, which has gone viral all over Kashmir Valley following observation of ASHURA (10th MOHARRAM) two days back.

In the photo, SSP PULWAMA - TANUSHREE is seen extending her arm for tying up green band titled - "Ya Fatima", reference to revered daughter of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who was married to Imam Ali (AS), the first Imam of Shia Muslim community.

SSP Pulwama Tanushree, IPS, visited Gungoo village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on the solemn occasion of the 10th Muharram (Ashura), where she joined the religious procession and reviewed the on-ground security and public arrangements.

During her visit, she also distributed drinking water among mourners, a gesture, which was appreciated widely by the Kashmiri Muslim community cutting across the sectarian divide.

SSP PULWAMA - Tanushree, who originally hails from Bihar is an IPS officer of 2017 batch with AGMUT cader (Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram and Union Territories).

On this occasion she interacted with volunteers, organizers, and local residents while monitoring the smooth conduct of the procession.

Elaborate security, traffic, and emergency arrangements were put in place by the district administration and police to ensure the peaceful observance of Ashura.

The 10th of Muharram ( Ashura ) marks the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) and is observed with deep reverence across Kashmir through processions and majalis attended by thousands of mourners.

The BATTLE OF KARBALA is a battle in which Imam Hussain (AS), the most beloved grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) fought against the injustice of Yazid in which he was helped and assisted by Hindu Hussaini Brahmins of undivided Punjab who laid their lives for the virtuous cause of Imam Hussain (AS).

IMAM HUSSAIN's (AS) sacrifice and Battle of Karbala is a lesson in upholding the principles of Justice that inspires Muslims and Non Muslims alike.

Dear Friends,

This is a short video of me from yesterday addressing the Kashmiri Hindu Pandit community at Mela Kheer Bhawani dedicated to Mata Maha Ragnya Devi in Tulmul village in Ganderbal district of Central Kashmir Valley.

I was literally mobbed by thousands of my beloved Kashmiri Hindu Pandit brothers and sisters at the Mela Kheer Bhawani, who showered me with their love and blessings and requested me to address them.

And amongst the gathered Kashmiri Hindu Pandit community at Mela Kheer Bhawani, I once again reiterated demand to declare as - "DISTRESSED SALE", all sale deeds of immovable properties like houses, lands, shops and orchids that our Kashmiri Hindu Pandit community was forced to sell at dirt cheap prices since 1989 and CANCEL such sale deeds by declaring them as "NULL & VOID" and return all these immovable properties back to KASHMIRI HINDU PUNDITS.

Give us back our "ORIGINAL" ANCHOR IN KASHMIR.

Dear Friends,

On the auspicious occasion of "JYESTHA ASHTAMI", popularly known in the Kashmir Valley as MELA KHEER BHAWANI, dedicated to the divine grace of MAHA RAGNYA DEVI, the "Kul Devi" or Patron Goddess of ALL KASHMIRIS & not just Kashmiri Hindu Pandits, I attended the joyous gathering of my Kashmiri Hindu Pandit brothers & sisters, who had come from different parts of India to offer milk & kheer to the holy spring at Tulmul, Ganderbal, in Central Kashmir.

I was thronged by thousands of my beloved Kashmiri Hindu brothers & sisters, who showered me with their love & blessings.

Amongst the gathered Kashmiri Pandit community at Mela Kheer Bhawani, I once again reiterated the demand to declare all sale deeds of immovable properties, such as houses, lands, shops & orchards, that our Kashmiri Pandit community was forced to sell at dirt-cheap prices since 1989, as "DISTRESSED SALES", & to cancel such sale deeds by declaring them "NULL & VOID", thereby returning all these immovable properties back to KASHMIRI PANDITS.

Give KASHMIRI HINDUS their "ORIGINAL" homes back.

Why is it important?

A Kashmiri Hindu Pandit is not merely attached to the land of Kashmir Valley, but is also attached to the sub-regions of Kashmir Valley where his or her ORIGINAL home & land were located. He or she is part of the sub-culture of that sub-region of Kashmir.

A Kashmiri Hindu Pandit from SOUTH KASHMIR is not the same as one from NORTH KASHMIR.

A Kashmiri Hindu Pandit from Pulwama in South Kashmir is part of the cultural continuity of that area. He or she cannot simply be settled in North Kashmir.

Any plan to settle Kashmiri Hindus from distinct parts of Kashmir Valley in a single location by treating them as a "homogeneous" entity is an affront to the distinct sub-cultural identity of Kashmiri Hindus, which is deeply embedded in the distinct sub-regions of Kashmir Valley.

This can only be achieved by restoring the ORIGINAL homes, localities, temples, shops, lands, agricultural fields & orchards of the Kashmiri Hindu community.

The return of Kashmiri Hindu Pandits is meaningless if their original localities, such as Habba Kadal in Srinagar, are not restored to them. These localities, with their temples, shops & other institutions, were the hubs of Kashmiri Hindu Pandit culture. Without restoring them, the Kashmir of the pre-1990 era can never be revived.

Besides, most Kashmiri Muslims also advocate that they do not want returning Kashmiri Hindus to live in segregated Hindu-only colonies, but rather to live closely with Kashmiri Muslims as they did before 1990.

For this, the Kashmiri Muslim community has to voluntarily return all houses, lands, shops & orchards purchased from distressed Kashmiri Hindus in the 1990s, taking advantage of their misery & suffering.

The loss of homes & lands severed Kashmiri Hindus from the enclaves where their forefathers had lived for thousands of years.

If Kashmir's majority community does not voluntarily return these "ORIGINAL" immovable properties to Kashmiri Hindus, then the same should be mandated by the COMMAND OF LAW.

If Kashmir's majority community is genuinely interested in the return of the Kashmiri Hindu Pandit community, then it must move beyond lip service & the utterance of hollow, sugar-coated words.

They must ask for forgiveness from our Kashmiri Hindu brothers & sisters & gracefully return to them their ORIGINAL HOMES & LANDS as repentance for the grotesque betrayal of trust in which my father's generation of Kashmir's majority community partook by forcing innocent Kashmiri Hindus out of the Kashmir Valley & acquiring their homes & lands either by force or through greed-driven sale deeds that took advantage of the pain & suffering of the Kashmiri Hindu community.

Now is the time to correct our sins.

HUMANITARIAN CRISIS IN PAKISTAN OCCUPIED JAMMU & KASHMIR (PoJK):

"Siege of Rawalakot"

For the past 16 days, essential supplies including baby milk, medicines, vegetables and other daily necessities have reportedly been blocked from entering Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) by the state of Pakistan.

The Pakistani state is doing this to stop the people of PoJK from taking out "Long March" from Rawalakot to the Line of Control (LoC) at "Chakan da Bagh" that connects Poonch town in Jammu region of India's UT of J&K with Rawalakot town of PoJK. Both were part of the former undivided Poonch district of the former princely state of Jammu and Kashmir prior to 1947.

Children, patients and vulnerable families in and around Rawalakot city are suffering.

On behalf of the people of India as well as the people of India's UT of J&K, we urge @UN, @antonioguterres and @UNHumanRights to take immediate notice and ensure access to food, medicines and other basic necessities to the oppressed people of PoJK, who are suffering brutally of the rogue regime of Pakistan led by its defacto ruler and Army Chief - Asim Munir.
