If wealth were a sum zero game, then jealousy/animosity towards @elonmusk would be understandable, though still misdirected.

Elon’s wealth is not directly proportionate, or even correlative to anyone’s impoverishment.

In fact, quite the contrary. Through his wealth, he has made other people extremely wealthy.

That said, everyone has the opportunity to create their own wealth. And if you think you need to make it to $1 trillion, or compare yourself to someone who has, you will never be happy - even if you somehow become wealthy.

Find what you love. Do it for a living if you can.

If you can’t do it for a living, do it as a passion. You may just discover how passion finds away.

And to quote Max Ehrmann:

“If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans”.
