Since this morning, I’ve been unable to leave my home. All checkpoints in H2 and exits from Hebron are closed. Israeli forces have begun demolishing homes and shops near the site of the attack.

At least five Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza, including two in an airstrike targeting a vehicle in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, where Drop Site’s Mohamed Ahmed filmed Civil Defense crews recovering the victims' remains.

“Just body parts. That’s all that’s in this bag. These are our people,” Civil Defense worker Hamza Ayoub said, holding a bag containing human remains. “God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.”

🔸 Elsewhere, a teenage girl was shot in the head and killed by Israeli forces in the Al-Faluja area of northern Gaza. An Israeli drone strike killed one Palestinian in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, while another strike in western Khan Younis killed one person.

🔸 At least 13 Palestinians were also wounded in an Israeli drone strike in northern Gaza City, according to the Palestine Red Crescent.

Free food distribution has almost completely stopped, major aid organizations have suspended their services, and now the World Food Programme, a key source of flour and canned food for hundreds of thousands of people here, has announced the suspension of its assistance.

For over a week, trucks carrying vegetables, fruit, and frozen food have also been prevented from entering Gaza.

Food supplies are shrinking, everything entering Gaza is being tightly controlled, and food queues are growing frighteningly long.

🚨 Reem Asaad Awad, a 33-year-old mother, was killed when an Israeli airstrike hit her family's apartment in Gaza City's Rimal neighborhood around 4am Wednesday, setting the building on fire. Videos circulating online show her young daughter being pulled out of the burning apartment.

Footage from inside the apartment shows the girl sitting alone on a bed as smoke fills the room and fire burns the wall above her. In another shot she presses her hand to her mouth, eyes wide with terror.

Israel said it was targeting a Hamas member but has provided no evidence.

🇵🇸 Dr. Marwan al-Hams, director of Gaza's field hospitals, suffered fractures after being restrained and beaten in front of Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir at Ganot prison on Oct. 7, according to Gaza's Health Ministry and the Prisoners' Media Office.

The ministry said al-Hams was restrained, dragged and severely beaten under Ben Gvir's "direct supervision," leaving him with fractures and acute back pain. The Prisoners' Media Office called it the "harshest treatment recorded against Gaza detainees" and said he needs urgent medical care.

Al-Hams, also a Health Ministry spokesperson, was seized by armed men in civilian clothes in al-Mawasi on July 21, 2025, according to the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights. He was shot in the leg and taken. Photojournalist Tamer al-Za'anin, who was filming him for a documentary, was killed in the attack.
Israel has not commented.

⭕️ Israeli reservist tells Der Spiegel his unit killed Palestinians who approached hidden positions, then logged them as terrorists

The soldier, who spent about 250 days in Gaza, described a procedure his unit often used called “Alman Kasch,” in which troops take up concealed positions in areas that have not been evacuated and open fire on anyone who comes near.

“If Palestinians, who do not know that our soldiers are there, approach, they are shelled. Usually other people come along who want to help, they are also shot at. Within a few minutes, five, six or seven people are killed. The protocol says: seven terrorists eliminated. But no, it’s just seven people who crossed an intersection. Important: We do not kill, we eliminate. That’s how we’ve always phrased it.”

He said his brigade killed 160 to 170 people during more than 80 days in the Netzarim corridor, where “there were no fighting, no attacks by Hamas.”

“Only one man was suspected to carry a gun. No one saw the gun, it was night, and he had something with him that could have been interpreted as a weapon. He was killed about 500 meters north of the corridor, so he was not a direct danger, and we never examined his body. But not only him, but all these dead were reported as terrorists.”

A compilation by Israeli researcher Shaiel Ben-Ephraim documents 26 instances on Oct. 7, 2023, in which Hamas fighters had civilians in their power and spared their lives.

The cases match how Hamas has described the day. In a January 2024 document explaining the operation, the group said its fighters were under a "religious and moral commitment" to avoid harming civilians. It said any civilian deaths happened "accidentally and in the course of the confrontation with the occupation forces."

Investigations by the UN commission of inquiry and Human Rights Watch documented several cases where Hamas-led fighters also deliberately killed civilians and took captives that day, which both called war crimes. Hamas officials acknowledged that "some faults happened," which they attributed to "the rapid collapse of the Israeli security and military system."

Hamas also noted "many Israelis were killed by the Israeli army and police due to their confusion,” as stir Israeli military officials admitted ordering the “Hannibal Directive” in several locations.
