The 5 Day Work Week for bank employees was agreed in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. Its implementation cannot remain pending indefinitely.

At the same time, a unilateral and discriminatory PLI framework that divides the workforce must give way to a fair, transparent and inclusive system for all employees.

This poor boy went to open an account in HDFC Bank and the bank manager said that a minimum balance of ₹25,000 was required.

The boy had taken only ₹1500 but the bank people sent him back and did not open a new account.

As soon as the boy came out of the bank, he sat down with his hands on his head and started crying.

Is it the rule of HDFC Bank that an account can be opened only if there is Rs 25,000, that is, it will not be opened for the common poor people?

If this rule is not there then HDFC Bank should take immediate action against everyone including the bank manager.

@kmarkri If scale 4 & above stop their work, clerical & officers (scale 1 to 3) have the ability to save the bank. But if it is reversed, scale 4 & above can not save the bank as they are omly show piece.

@neumenor One word to say why customers visit any bank branch or even private sector banks for any purpose. India government has implemented Digital Bharat. Only one thik customer has visited the bank branch due to slack of their own work where he has worked.
