AIs aren’t minds and robots aren’t bodies.
They’re better at some things - usually the things we hate to do.
They’re worse at other things - usually the things we like to do.
Automation more than competition.
Many of the most interesting people are a bit shy and introverted, are already happy alone, dislike crowded places and shallow conversations, don't like to promote themselves to get attention, have a lot to share, but are also very selective about who they spend their time with.
Did you know that...
your right nostril is related to the left hemisphere of the brain.
your left nostril is related to the right hemisphere of the brain.
right hemisphere plays a big role in the parasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest)
left hemisphere turns up the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight)
conscious breathing through one nostril at a time can activate these brain regions.
This means if you are anxious or stressed- few moments of left nostril breathing might be just what you need to find your calm.
Fascinating?
I remember watching this for the first time in college, being moved by the delivery and surprised that Charlie Chaplin created content beyond comedy too.
Saw the entire movie, cried and laughed through it.
You have a limited amount of fucks to give. Very few, in fact. And if you go around giving a fuck about everything and everyone without conscious thought or choice—well, then you're going to get fucked.
We react to our interpretation of what happened - not what actually happened.
Which means, we all have the capacity to change our interpretations.
Changing how you interpret the situation you’re in could be one of the single most powerful things you do. 💪
Wonderful life principle:
Leave things better than you found them.
Whether that be a park bench, a relationship, a business, a lawn mower you borrow, or the world as a whole.
