@AustinsStocks@grok@HalakItLikeThat@tobi How is it possible that the top 1% pay 40% of all taxes? Either their tax rate is insanely high, or they own the overwhelming majority of wealth. The average U.S. tax rate is 14.5%, the top 1% pay 37%.
Conclusion: it’s because the top 1% own more than the bottom 90% combined
@tobi Trump withdrew the US from the JCPOA, something the IAEA said was working. This is what led to Iran dabbling in nuclear weapon research again. And now Trump has declared war without congressional approval, a clear breach of the constitution. The concern is not propaganda, Tobi.
@Devon_Eriksen_@tobi Have capitalism. Have 1% of the population commit wage theft until they own 90% of all wealth. Have COL outpace wages. Enable corruption to make the 1% richer and everyone else poorer. Paint every attempt to course correct as “socialism” or “communism”.
@lucyhargreaves4@tobi Yes, that is how strikes work. If it was not disruptive, nothing would change. Usually strikes come after folks ask nicely for too long.
@elonmusk@realDonaldTrump@Tesla Back at it with the 14 flags? You’re not subtle or cute.
The company is failing and it’s 100% your fault. Stop looking for something or someone to blame.
@VideoGameHstry Tough question. I love so many on this list, but probably gotta give it to the PS2. Its library was insane, and it could play PS1 games as well.
@MurchieJosh @jgpr7hmhbg@TheAppleDesign I use Apple Music and I have to agree. Spotify feels built around recommending new music, but the discovery station is hidden way in Apple Music IMO. Wish they kept discover station front and center and maintained its play history...
@PessimistsArc This one is a bit of a miss. He’s not warning against automation, he’s warning against increased wealth disparity when machines can automate blue collar work as well
@notch Depends on what you want. If you want/need gaming, Linux is better. Mac OS is probably better if you want more commercial apps and no nonsense “it just works”, but is much more restrictive with hardware. But I also haven’t used Linux as a daily driver in like a decade, so ymmv
@greenyphatom Hello, I do not know you and just saw the parent tweet in my feed, but I want to drop by and let all the randos know that yes, they should play Psychonauts
@Cocoawerks @dhh But I believe there’s definitely a cutoff. Like a car that’s been sorely neglected for decades and then wrecked. Sure, it is physically possible to restore this car, but it’s far from feasible. Code can pretty easily reach the point where it’s easiest to nuke it and start over.
