$NVDA - could it be the players with enough money to actually make this stock price move up significantly are instead using said money to fund NVDA's behind the scene deals?
@EhrmantrautCap_ The last few earnings beat means you trim your NVDA position to buy the "bottle necks" the continued beats implied. I expect the same here. NVDA beat just green lights rotation to the rest of the AI trade
@LuxuryWatchGuy1@alexforschner@sama resale will be tied to the historical significance of OpenAI. IF they get to AGI first and these 7 did it, resale will be based on how famous each of the 7 are and their contribution.
@EconBerger In the AI age what is written is less important that how its fact checked. Reason why AI written pieces are unattractive the data is suspect. If a person who is a known expert in a field uses AI to write something, it is different because its assume its legit and fact checked
@DudeWhoInvests When you eat too much sugar you get hyper then crash. Thats why you can't have anymore candy MR. 8 year old. You already had too much and now its nap time.
@michaeljburry They need enough money to pay TSMC and get in line. Designing is one thing, paying to get into the queue is another. Part of NVDA's moat is its close ties with all the suppliers.
@fintergirl This is true but Jensen lived through dotcom. Money is super cheap relative to history and should only rise in the future. Investor fomo and leverage is high. If not now to fund the AI future then when? If stocks crash hyperscalers will survive and thrive.
@Venu_7_ Major institutions do things that make the most money for them. The great financial crisis involved all the major institutions. All great crashes are caused by institutions who thought they were smart enough to get out when its bad. Maybe they own cause retail will buy it.
@MelMattison1 If the people who know you think your X messages are a bit out of hand maybe tone it down a bit and just focus on the finance posts which people actually follow you for. As a stranger I can tune out your bullshit rants. As a human I advise you listen to people you care about.
@10452km2@HedgieMarkets Could it be this higher revenue (and Iโm assuming higher profits) per employee is subsidized by the same money losing ai. Once that money is gone that revenue is over taken by cost.
@ShanghaoJin@bboczeng They aren't betting their existence on AI. They are using their profits on AI to hedge in case its real. IF AI fails then they are business as usual.
@missingtruths@leadlagreport part of his "stock picking" is also outright buying businesses that are no longer stocks. The entire company is his portfolio. The cash the company holds isn't for stocks only.
