Had a blast presenting with my fellow PhD students last week at the @QAAFI Research Meeting. Such a great opportunity to share the exciting work weโve got going on in taro. Watch this space ๐ฑ
Guess Iโm still running on island time which is why Iโm posting this late. Back in August I had an incredible 4 weeks working with researchers at @spc_cps around drought tolerance in taro all thanks to the @CrawfordFund. What an amazing opportunity to learn from the experts!
Our book chapter on 'Genome Editing Towards Sorghum Improvement' is out now in @SpringerNature. Contributors: @YasmineCan, @JessHintzsche, @JemmaRestall, @Godwin_UQ, @Godwin_Lab

Beyond excited to announce that Iโm a recipient of the 2022 Crawford Fund Student Awards! Canโt wait to work with the team at @spc_cps in Fiji on validation of a method to screen taro for drought tolerance
So excited to be working on such an important project! If you see any wild taro while out and about, please log it through our project on iNaturalist
