I have never heard of these types of objects, super interesting! And again, this study shows how important critical analysis is in the interpretation of function. It is a mystery as to why they were found in situ with far older bronzes and all together.. #WBRG14 @UjPalaeo

More historically documented artefacts. These perforated teeth were interpreted as a necklace despite only approx. half with evidence of perforation. Interpretation, critical analysis and/or reanalysis are very important aspects of research #WBRG14 @UjPalaeo

Manufacturing, chaînes opératoires and use-wear of Bronze Age scapulae 'knives'. With experimental studies certain functions were definitely ruled out, but several others cannot be excluded but also not confirmed, fascinating nonetheless! #WBRG14 @UjPalaeo

Interesting pattern of only finding debitage and raw materials in the early periods, and almost exclusively finished objects in the later period. Insights into spatial dist. and socioeconomics, and the importance of including ALL excavation finds in analyses! #WBRG14 @UjPalaeo
