I wrote a journal article about "Atonement in Global Theology."
My thesis: "Since the atoning death of Jesus is a global accomplishment, it is most fittingly understood from a global perspective."

The Wall Street Journal ran an op-ed on my book Josephus and Jesus today. Please share and comment on the article!

Repeatedly, the Scripture’s call is to pursue wisdom in the face of life’s brevity. This has made me wonder if I’ve grown wiser through my battle with disease and mortality. Has cancer led me to paths of wisdom?

Then it should blow right by the Standard Model of Particle Theory/General Relativity by, say, breakfast tomorow!
Because with all our data, it would be rather mysterious/suspicious if it stopped more or less exactly where we humans were stopped dead in our tracks…53 years ago.
"We are on solid ground if we describe abiding or remaining in Christ as continuing to believe Him, trust Him, love Him, obey Him, and have personal communion with Him in prayer, meditation on the Word, and worship."

Down to the very style of the early Christian manuscripts rings the doctrine that Jesus Christ is LORD.
Textual analysis expert @michaeljkruger with @ReformTheoSem and @TGC explains how specific markings and abbreviations in the early Christian manuscripts expressed divinity, and since their inscription been used for both God the Father and Jesus. We can see how Christology is bound up in the construction of the early writings and in the Nomina Sacra.
Michael and I respond to more questions about early the Christian manuscripts in the full video, available on YouTube. Watch here! --> https://t.co/NPVbl0p8fg

A new study finds that people with higher autistic-like traits tend to avoid using affectionate behaviors to maintain their romantic relationships. The research suggests this distancing is primarily driven by insecure attachment styles. https://t.co/FzrxXCviOl
How to trigger real focus before you study:
- Before you start, run a silent script in your head: "I need to learn this"
- Tell yourself the information is important to voluntarily ramp up alertness and focus
- Don't wait for material to pull your attention out of you - engage it volitionally
- When your mind drifts, bring it back, constantly. That is the work
- Put on a hoodie and hat as blinders so you can only attend to what's in front of you
- Expect strain and agitation. That's the signal, not a failure
The strain reflects release of neuromodulators like epinephrine, which cue your circuits that they need to change later. No strain, no neuroplasticity.
