Over 20 years, not as many as some, but longer than others. Lots of love, lots of laughs, many ups, some downs. Always a sense of belonging. #NursesDay
@bartk1e@xaviation General consensus seems to be A320 series has the more spacious and comfortable cockpit. Almost unanimously on the jump seat. The wool on the Boeing must never get cleaned and hide a multitude of sins, whereas the fabric on the Airbus seems easier to keep clean.
@Beth_Barton_@_Doctor_Dom One of my employers used to remind us occasionally that as staff expected to travel between sites we contractually needed business use. (& confirmed on mileage claim) (can also claim ~ยฃ0.10 per mile for cycling - no insurance required)
@Paul98R Morning, a couple of institutions have done combined offerings in the past, donโt forget thereโs a lot of us about who are dual trained through a variety of alternative routes. Some universities will offer APEL for example.
@Plyons251 Iโve taught sexual health to patients with catheters. If wanted fold the catheter along the base of the penis and cover with a condom was the advice for male catheters. Ejaculate will do itโs thing internally and externally. Open conversations.
@antkitchener@The_HCPC With a history of extravagance, (ยฃ1000โs being spend on Christmas parties, central london offices etc..) No fees for approving programs, just individuals. Funding & saving reviewed? However a new ethos of preventative FtP measures & better engagement is welcomed.
@MatthewHumar Iโm beginning to see a lot of โLearning From Incidentsโ (LFI) activity. Route cause analysis, transparent reports. Recognition of the whole situation in context.
The unexploded bomb in #GreatYarmouth detonated earlier during work to disarm it. Our drone captured the moment. We can confirm that no one was injured. Public safety has been at the heart of our decision making all the way through this operation, which we know has been lengthy.
@LimaVictor075@owenmorgs We obviously teach 15:2 in a healthcare setting however the syllabus of the last paediatric first aid course I taught was 30:2. (syllabus set by awarding body)
@DoctorMayJay Aww the memories of A&E C.2000โs, busy dept, no breaks = Studentโs responsibility:- cleaning down the stainless steel surgical trolley adding kettle, toaster, cups, jamโsโฆ the lot โฆ and wheeling into the centre of the dept! Proper care of junior doctors and patients alike.
@Saadiyah_Physio@Louisdebernard I believe one of the essential criteria is โExperience of performing invasive procedures such asโฆโ with IVโs given as an example. We have an extensive experience of teaching cannulation with our Student Paramedics.
Pre-Hospital Practitioner adverts closing tonight. If your a Nurse or AHP with an interest in pre-hospital work this round is closing at 23:59 tonight. https://t.co/z0Jh0kL60X
@Discostu68@adarshcool6@fesshole Miss the old man, used to drink in a long since abandoned pub called the Ferryboat. He occasionally paid for my pint, we saw bands from all over coming in the hope of being seen, and then heard on the radio the night after.
