Hi everyone! In two weeks' time, I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in support of the amazing MSF (Doctors Without Borders).
Any support, be it running tips or donations to my JustGiving, would be most gratefully received! Thank you in advance! https://t.co/t0MNy9JiCN

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Paul Rees to the Cardiovascular Division. We’re thrilled to have him join the team as Associate Professor of Medicine, Interventional Cardiology. #UMNHeart
Huge thank you to the ED and medical teams @WestSuffolkNHS
Every member of staff was excellent, and the experience truly could not have been better. Extremely grateful for your help today and feeling much better as a direct result of outstanding care 🥰
Actually, most medical treatments are not supported by high quality evidence: https://t.co/BZ27Bd32pR
And non-drug interventions, including exercise, are also not supported by high quality evidence:

High quality evidence is rare
@dru_jlh Sending big love and hugs on this 🫂 it's always doubly scary when you know the buzz words and you still can't get what you know the patient needs...
@wesstreeting Then why have you not done so since the last time you promised to improve the working lives of resident doctors?
Can you give a single reason why they should believe a work you say this time?
People taking SGLT2 inhibitors:
• were less likely to die w/i 30 days
• had fewer heart problems, kidney injuries and cases of diabetic ketoacidosis
Benefits greater in:
• women
• people with obesity
• people with protein in their urine
• heart surgery.

For the first time, we are:
📌 Offering support to all bystanders involved in OHCA
📌 Identifying how many are under 18
📌 Tracking who needs further emotional support
This fills a major gap in post-resuscitation care. #OHCA#BystanderSupport
🚨 In just 2.5 months since launch, RescQ has registered over 100 bystanders involved in Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest (OHCA) events.
We're proud to be the first UK (at least!) to document the bystander denominator & provide with much needed support.🧵
