The piracy impact conference has concluded. Discussions focused on identifying immediate actions to enhance counter-piracy efforts. As a result, a new task force has been created to help eliminate the resurgence of pirates.

I am attending the Piracy Impact Conference in Nairobi. At the conference, partner countries/Institutions will discuss ways to deter the resurgence of piracy in the Horn. We will present our national mechanisms for the transfer and prosecution of individuals involved in piracy.
