Jack Smith is a patriot.

Eric Schmitt is a liar.

Pass it on.

[Kelly Jones @RealKellyJones]

The U.S. Constitution gives the Senate the explicit power to police its own members. Under Article I, Section 5, the Senate may punish members for "disorderly behavior." If a senator knowingly uses fabricated evidence or acts dishonorably, the Senate can issue internal disciplinary actions.

#SanctionSchmidt!

As a Gopher fan, I know the difference between the Hawks and the Hawkeyes.

It’s appalling that Moreno waited this long to speak publicly on this matter and I assume he’s only doing it now because of growing political pressure … but better late than never I suppose

[Armando @ArmandoNDK]

Took you awhile. And if Miller hadn't responded publicly, you would not have informed the Ohio electorate.

[Geoff @GeoffBrown82]

What took him so long 🤔? This should have been said long ago . . . the moment he knew.

[Cheyenne Hunt @CheyenneHuntCA]

This is a far cry from saying you “didn’t know” if he should run for reelection a few days ago. We expect our Senators to have basic moral clarity and if you can’t even summon that for your own daughter, you certainly won’t for the people of Ohio.

[Caitlin Legacki @caitleg]

Why did it take so long for this coward to speak out against the man who abused his daughter and grandchild

[Jennifer Get In Good Trouble @TheJenniWren]

Bernie Moreno’s granddaughter had a broken clavicle. His daughter was scalded with boiling water and had a gun held to her head. He knew for two years. He said nothing for two years. Now Max Miller is a political liability and suddenly Moreno finds his voice? You’re a POS trying to save your political career and we see right through you.

[🌼🌹Raquel🌹🌼 @eternallyRaq]

Bernie Moreno had the knowledge that his daughter and granddaughter were in danger and he held onto this information until just now. He stayed silent while allowing the man who hurt his daughter to be able to run for office and even praising him as recently as 2024!!

[Patterico @Patterico]

"I owe it to her, to Emily, and to my granddaughter to speak the truth now."

No.

You owed it to your daughter and granddaughter to speak the truth a loooooooooong time ago.

[Veterans For Responsible Leadership @VetsForRL]

It’s inexcusable to wait this long to speak out. You’re an awful father and a sniveling coward who is only speaking up now to try and save face. Completely unfit to serve.

[Warren @swd2]

It took you way too long to say this. I have a daughter. It would've taken me 0.000001 seconds to reach this conclusion.

[Rachel Coyle @RachelCoyleOhio]

Bernie Moreno was publicly praising Max Miller while watching Miller abuse his daughter and granddaughter. Weak. Pathetic. Inexcusable.

[Faj @Faj1791]

Senator Moreno admits that he's known that Max Miller has been abusing his daughter for at-least two years and yet two years ago he was proudly toting Millers endorsement. You don't hate these cowards enough.

[Jim Stewartson, Decelerationist 🇨🇦🇺🇦🇺🇸 @jimstewartson]

So you held onto this and let your own daughter’s abuser run for office until now?

To use your own words, who in the fuck do you think you are?

[Adam Kinzinger (Slava Ukraini) 🇺🇸🇺🇦 @AdamKinzinger]

If a guy broke my granddaughters collar bone and held a gun to my daughters head, I’d call for more than “psychological help.” That said, @MaxMillerOH needs to leave.

[Mehdi Hasan @mehdirhasan]

Better late than never from Moreno but a reminder that this GOP senator was more angry and ruder to Fauci than he is here to the man who allegedly assaulted and threatened his daughter.
