This is also creates a HUGE problem with the atonement. If our sin is an infinite offense to the Father (it is), and Christ is not coequal with the Father, then He is unable to make sufficient atonement for the sins of man. The one receiving judgment must be equal to the one offended, or else justice necessitates eternal punishment, as the one punished will never be able to atone for the magnitude of the sins offense. This becomes the eternal consequence of all those who come under judgment without the blood of Christ, which alone is able to justly cover sin, as the Son alone is able to bear it.
