“I firmly believe... that moral and spiritual lapses are the principal cause for failure to persevere rather than intellectual doubts. But intellectual doubts become a convenient and self-flattering excuse for spiritual failure..."
- William Lane Craig
@Protestia Faith isn't just about "belief" though. You could be someone struggling with belief (I believe, help my unbelief), but you still submit to Christ as your Lord. It's an act of submission to Jesus as your authority, head, and master. That is absolutely a binary.
@LostMyHats I'm looking for these quotes in the primary material and I'm not finding it. Did you get this from AI? Because I've seen AI literally invent quotes out of nothing. I just read the full chapter for the 2nd point, that quote is not there. Care to help me find it?
I was talking to a non-Christian recently and they said, “Without judgment there would be no need for salvation.” In other words, Jesus wouldn't need to save us, if God wasn't so wrathful. My response was that, "Without judgment, there would be no justice."
Out of curiosity I asked ChatGBT a question, here's the answer.
Based on this analysis, approximately 85-90% of major international charities focused on clean water, food security, and care for vulnerable populations in developing countries have Christian origins or affiliations.
@Frontier_Help I've noticed the Steam page bundles the two Dominion DLC with the base game, but it doesn't let you "complete your bundle". Is it possible to have this fixed, so people like me with the base game can benefit from the bundle?
@CapturingChrist I can understand changing your focus to be more Roman Catholic centered, but my issue is how unreasonably strong your position is getting. To say we have better evidence for Marian apparitions than the resurrection... that's dishonoring to Christ (as well as just false).
One way atheists attack Christianity is by comparing the evidence for the resurrection to the evidence for Marian apparitions. I'm doing research on this to help Christians have a good answer to this challenge. More videos coming soon. Here's the first.

@KapwingApp I'm really interested in using your service from now on, but I'm doing a test export, and every case of a "w" has these weird spikes sticking out. The spikes don't show up in the timeline, only in the export. Help?
Preparing for a lecture tonight. If you remove objective purpose from life, there's no way a person ought to "be". The concept of virtue becomes offensive to the culture. If there's no virtue, we cannot help but harm each other.
Currently editing my video on Marian apparitions, and O'Connor's comments about the 500 witnesses. Personally, I'm now thinking Matthew 28 where it says "some doubted" is actually the scenario that Jesus appeared to 500 at once.
New research in @thetimes this weekend. Shows Gen Z are the ‘open’ generation in term of spirituality and the least likely to define as atheist.
I know that my Gen Z teenage children seem to find sharing/talking about their faith in public far easier than I did when I was their age…
Signs of a Surprising Rebirth?

A thought I had when asked about Christians dating non-Christians. Would you marry literally anyone? Or do you have a list of preferences and standards? Shouldn't your faith be at the top of that list?
@RFupdates I've often found the Christian stance of absolute anti-Platonism to be odd. There are great qualities within Platonism that the Christian can celebrate!
