Am sure Arteta can accept not getting the rub of the green as he realised “how difficult and big is the referee’s job” when the decision went Arsenal’s way against West Ham 😉
All I can think about right now is the following:
- Bournemouth away. 2-0 up and drew 2-2.
- Brighton away. Rutter 91st minute equaliser.
- Fulham at home. Scarles misses the ball and lose in the 85th minute.
- Forest at home. 1-0 up and lose 2-1 due to two poor VAR decisions.
- Chelsea away. 2-0 up at half time and lose 3-2.
- United at home. Sesko 96th minute equaliser.
20 mins that has just underlined how important Taty and Pablo have been. Bit mad to replace them with Todibo and Wilson who regularly fail to keep pace with the game. Easy to play through without them.
It’s actually gut-wrenching to see how so much late drama has effectively defined our season and resulted in our impending relegation:
Bournemouth (A) - 82nd min Unal equaliser after being 0-2 up. 2 points dropped.
Brighton (A) - 91st min Rutter equaliser. Should’ve been disallowed for high foot and handball. 2 points dropped.
Villa (H) - Rogers 80th min winner from 30 yards. 1 point dropped.
Fulham (H) - Scarles miss kicks the ball which leads to a Jimenez 85th min winner. 1 point dropped.
Forest (H) - Dodgy VAR decision to award an 89th min penalty to Forest. 2-1 loss and 1 point dropped.
Chelsea (A) - Todibo hits the post to win us the game. Enzo 92nd min winner from 0-2. 1 point dropped.
Man Utd (H) - 7 mins strangely added on. Sesko 96th min equaliser. 2 points dropped.
Arsenal (H) - Wilson 95th min equaliser wrongly chalked off. 1 point dropped.
