Rachel Maddow recently covered how, disgusted with their Prime Minister’s corrupt government, Bulgarian citizens protested en mass using a symbolic pig with the word “octabka” (resign). It worked! The govt. there is leaving. Inspired, I made this lil’ piggy. Nice job, Bulgarians!
@alieninsect Hofmann’s translator likes alliteration (Hofmann didn't employ it); 8 of 11 Eine merkwürdige Ahnung translations used strange; 6 used hunch, suspicion, inkling, presentiment, premonition & intuition (the German has a future-predictive quality beyond "idea" (4X) or "notion" (1X).
