@thomasforth I always remember looking at the "Solidaritätszuschlag" line item on my first pay slip in Germany and wondering what that was. There was also at the time some discussion on whether it should also be allowed to spend that money on the Ruhrgebiet (I think ultimately declined).

The new @UKHSA paper on booster effectiveness vs Delta has some nice extra time resolution.
It gives a good answer to the oft-asked "How long do boosters take to work?"
(Guess: Omicron protection will show a similar shape on a different LH axis).
