PS: Also recruiting postdocs! Reach out!
Getting the lab up and running! Now recruiting a research assistant/lab manager. Please apply through

Stay tuned for a postdoc position coming up soon.
@Tyler_B_Jensen Interesting question. I imagine for some H2A variants (like H2AX) K15-Ub functions very much the same. In these cases, H4K20me status will still determine repair pathway. How enrichment for more divergent H2A variants or their Ub by RNF168 may affect this dynamic is unclear!
Excited to share our lab's latest, where we reveal how BRCA1-BARD1 engage with sites of DNA breaks during HR. This was led by @Jordan_R_Becker, collaborating with @mdrwilson & building on previous work with Anja Groth https://t.co/3Q15q8VATH / https://t.co/MNOAmupXnk Thread 1/9
Fascinated by DNA repair? We are recruiting a postdoc to work on exciting projects investigating DNA double-strand break (DSB) repair, and its function in genome maintenance and diversification. Will involve mouse models & reductionist approaches. Pls RT: https://t.co/W0bEzfQ6Dm
Interested in studying nucleotide variants on a high-throughput scale? Check out our recent work in @CellCellPress led by Raquel Cuella-Martin on the functional interrogation of DNA damage response variants with base editing screens!

Kanemaki lab at NIG published a new version of their auxin-inducible degron system (AID2):

AID2 works really fantastic for rapid and complete depletion of the target protein! Much better than the previous AID. Congrats, Kanemaki-san!
Just out @Nature. Work from us & @AHollandLab shows recurrent 17q23-amplification in breast cancer renders cells completely reliant on centrosomes for mitosis. Caused by TRIM37 o/exp, PLK4 inhibitors target this defect to induce synthetic lethality! https://t.co/oMAgG3ZGRG
We're recruiting: In the coming months we're looking to recruit a couple of Postdocs to projects related to: (1) DNA repair mechanisms involved in lymphocyte development; (2) CIN mechanisms in cancer & synthetic lethality. Interested with relevant expertise, get in touch. Pls RT
Trump just signed an executive order blocking all new temporary #immigration visas, including #H1B and #J1. This should be of great concern to all US scientists who are no longer able to hire international students and postdocs. #AcademicTwitter
