🗳️It's time to share our decision regarding Proposal 811 on @cosmoshub

To provide some context, the proposal aims to enable permissioned smart contracts on the Cosmos Hub, with the goal of establishing a dApps ecosystem, or as mentioned in the proposal, turning the Cosmos Hub into an Apple Store.

This time, we're voting NO. Is it because we are against enabling smart contracts on the Cosmos Hub? No, that's not the reason. We're voting no because we believe that at this moment, as the ICS dynamic is just starting, with consumer chains entering and receiving economic support from the AEZ to encourage their growth, it's not the best timing.

This is a proposal that, in our view, hasn't been thoroughly debated before being launched on-chain. It seeks to drastically alter the course of Cosmos Hub and even aims to directly compete with one of the consumer chains that Cosmos Hub itself supports and encourages, such as Neutron.

Are we in favor of smart contracts on the Cosmos Hub? Probably yes, in fact, we previously shared our opinion with Proposal 69, as we see its potential. Do we think it's the right timing or or that it's been approached correctly? No, we don't believe so. Such an important decision needs to be based on well-discussed foundations and requires clear community support, which is far from being the case here.

For these reasons, we've decided to vote NO on Cosmos Hub Proposal 811.
