Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
We are committed to breaking down the barriers to inclusion and access for disabled people so all can lead happy, healthy and productive lives.
Today we celebrate the International Day of Disabled Persons — a reminder that inclusion and equality must guide every part of life. “Nothing about us without us” is more than a slogan — it’s a commitment to genuine consultation and full inclusion of Disabled people, because we know our lives best. Let’s uphold the principle that we are all born free and equal in dignity and rights. #IDPD ♿💜

Part 1
This week, I was incredibly proud to bring together disabled colleagues from across the Labour & Co-operative and Trade Union movements for talks with the Government on disabled people's rights and policy.
Part 2
Disabled members have felt unheard for too long.
@DisabilityLab and @CoopDisability are working to reset relationships with Government.
It's time to rebuild - and restore trust.
It was a privilege to chair this week’s @SocialistSocs meeting at 10 Downing Street.
Labour in power is delivering the real change that our nations need. A huge thank you to the brilliant @mrs_creynolds.

A vote for anyone but Labour risks more chaos under Farage and the Tories.
The only way working people can secure change in your community is by voting Labour on Thursday 1 May.

Hucknall West deserves better.
Vote Labour and Coop on May 1st. 🌹
Thank you, Michelle, for raising this issue. Poor phone signal affects many of us in Hucknall West, regardless of provider. It’s great to hear the Government is taking action to improve the situation, and we hope for positive change soon.
Too many areas in Sherwood Forest get left behind because of bad signal and a lack of internet access - my question on digital inclusion in the House
It was great to be a @HucknallTownFc yesterday. ⚽️ It is always exciting to see the local team and community come together. It's such a great family friendly and community space.
Final result 0-0 against Skegness.
