Cu electrocatalysts can reduce CO2, but selectively achieving one product is difficult. Congrats to Prof Sargent and team for their work introducing Au to Cu catalysts to improve CO2 electroreduction to CH4! @Sargent_Group @tedsargentTO @JoshuaAWicks https://t.co/ezQH707gE7
Everything from your new wheels to your shampoo has this basic building block — ethylene! And Carbon XPRIZE Finalist @CO2CERT has found a way to create it and save the planet.
Will they take home the $7.5M Grand Prize? Find out April 19th: https://t.co/LjyOa6irGV

It was a joy to work on this inter-disciplinary project with my collaborators at @Livermore_Lab to find new insights on the influence of the gas diffusion layer in CO2 electroreduction product selectivity. Looking forward to future opportunities to work together!
@JoshuaAWicks and colleagues from @Livermore_Lab publish in Advanced Materials @AdvSciNews "3D‐Printable Fluoropolymer Gas Diffusion Layers for CO2 Electroreduction" check it out: https://t.co/oT71gEsX7Y
Such an amazing experience working with CERT in Calgary for the past 5 months. In this project, we have scaled up our technology more than 1000x to convert CO2 emissions into valuable chemicals. Very excited to hear the results of our hard work in the Carbon XPRIZE competition!
For Carbon XPRIZE finalists, the final countdown is on. Team CERT's been working hard to produce renewable ethylene, a building block for industrial chemicals as a solution to climate change. ♻️👷🏻♀️

The view from our @CO2CERT site today in Calgary was spectacular! Working with @Xprize@nrgenergy together to cut CO2 emissions so next generations can simply enjoy such beautiful views in the future.
Bazylak and co-workers @UofTMIE use x-ray imaging to monitor bubble formation during CO2 electroreduction. This paper is first in the #Electrosynthesis special issue, guest edited by @SmithElectroLab and @lnce_epfl. Stay tuned!

I STOPPED THE CAR AND WEPT LAST NIGHT. It was after midnight. I was driving home from another 18 hour day at @SinaiHealth + @UHN and then i saw this. THANK YOU to my @CityofToronto and its citizens for these #ActsofLove that are keeping its #frontline health workers going.
