@itzchristunique IS SHE A BAD PARENT OR NOT?
Why do we think its ok for nigerian parents to maintain their "african parent" mentality overseas?
Is this not the same reason couples divorce and we support them, we say the men don't want to adapt and want to be patrichal in an equal society.
@tkb417 The solution, men should stop taking Nigerian women abroad. Marry there if you must marry but to a non-Nigerian. No Nigerian woman has ever taken a man abroad.
It was 2015, just after graduation. I had just returned to Abuja after surviving UNIBEN.
I had a neighbour who worked at NRS (formerly FIRS). He had always been kind to me, and we used to talk about life whenever I came home during holidays. So when I finished school, I felt it was the right time to approach him about job opportunities.
Around that same time, a friend of mine came back with me from school. He didn’t want to return to Kaduna immediately, so he asked if he could stay with me for a week. He also wanted to use the opportunity to see his girlfriend in Abuja. I spoke to my parents, and they agreed.
When I spoke to my neighbour, he asked me to prepare my CV and bring a hard copy, as they were looking to hire. I mentioned my friend to him, and he said he could also submit his CV.
We both prepared our CVs and planned to visit him together so I could introduce my friend properly.
One Tuesday night, we went to his house, but he wasn’t around. I called him, but he didn’t pick. Later, he sent a message saying he had travelled and would be back on Thursday.
Unfortunately, I had to travel to Delta State on Thursday for personal reasons, while my friend was scheduled to return to Kaduna on Friday.
So I gave my CV to my friend and asked him to submit both his and mine to my neighbour when he returned. I had already informed my neighbour that my friend would come on my behalf, and he agreed.
I travelled.
When I got to Delta, I called my friend again to remind him. I had also confirmed that my neighbour was back in Abuja.
That evening, around 9pm, my friend went to submit the CVs and told me he had done so. The next day, he travelled back to Kaduna.
Everything seemed fine.
Until I returned to Abuja.
My neighbour called me and asked:
“Why did you change your mind about working with the government?”
I was confused. I said "as how naw?"
He then told me that the CVs submitted were for my friend and his girlfriend.
Mine was not included.
According to him, my friend said I wanted to go to law school first and maybe do some private practice before considering working with his agency.
My neighbour even showed me the CVs.
Mine was not there.
I called my friend.
His response?
“You know your parents are still alive… mine are not. Plus na only me my babe get. I just feel say job no go hard you get na why… abeg no vex.”
That was it.
Harrison… I hope this post goes viral and that you somehow come across it wherever you may be at the moment.
So you can see yourself clearly for the evil that you are.
One of Nigeria’s most mysterious places 🇳🇬 is the cursed Inachalo River in Idah town, Kogi State.
It’s believed that any fish caught there will never cook, no matter how much heat is applied.
Below explains the reason why ⤵️
@thepharmwriter@AkposMalafakumo@specialtalk101 You have said it all. Hospitals can't give substandard/low effective drugs to the staffs off NLNG, Totally Energier, NNPCL and it's like sure. In fact that HMO no go even negotiate low drugs self.
@Ted_Tolofari@HisGrace87 No. They were still awaiting trial but they have done 6 years to and fro the court before the break. He was released a year later.
@Ted_Tolofari@HisGrace87 My elder bro was in the prison during the prison break and refused to escape with the other prisoners but all his casemate escaped that night....
Some of you look calm on the outside. But inside you’re carrying family pressure, unpaid bills, and unfinished dreams.
I pray this week rewards your effort.
If you hire 700 men on N600,000 per month in Nigeria today, there's a good chance you may be invited to 500 weddings in 2 years
If you hire 700 women for the same amount, 90% will wait for men earning N1,000,000 per month to propose
Hire men, to promote marriage in Nigeria
This is gory, graphic and saddening.
Here is a kidnapped NYSC member dehumanised by terrorists.
I will keep posting these videos because this is the only way to awaken the anger in all of us. We must speak up and tell the animals in govt enough is enough.
