"Guys, I signed up for a religon that preaches to 'love thine enemies' and to 'turn the other cheek' and it's led by a guy called the Prince of Peace. Now, this jackass tells me that war is wrong? What the hell???"-every idiot responding to this negatively
@emuse1955@analyticatheism As someone who's followed both Ghost and the broader philrel scene for a few years now, I think he is one of the most epistemically responsible people in the entire community. He hasn't released his piece on miracles yet, so how can you say that without knowing his reasons?
@RealgarKnight Also, you never answered my question on engaging with universalist thinkers. Have you read Ramelli, Talbott, Mccord-Adams, Parry or Reitan?
@RealgarKnight Obviously i'm aware his universalism wasn't the reason he was called that. The only reason his universalist passages were at all controversial were the rulings of emperor justinian. Modern scholarship on the issue has vindicated his universalism.
@ChristianityOn@BicycleSocials The abortion one I can atleast make sense of, but him deleting his videos on material causality with Felipe Leon, Paul Draper’s decisive evidence argument, and his interview with Josh Rasmussen on universalism leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. Those were not scandalous imo
@TheFreeWillHoax@goingawoll No I don’t have to admit that lol, plus his sincerity has been corroborated by 7 people who know him personally. So either there’s a massive pro theist conspiracy theory going on at Princeton (pretty unlikely) or he’s legit.
