A brief band of Heavy Rain probably lasting 45mins-1hour is about to make its presence in Nottinghamshire very shorty from the north West moving south east

There appears to be a slight chance of #UKSnow above 300 400m tomorrow evening whilst most models going for brief snow.

UKV appears to be a longer spell of snow above 300 400m in the Yorkshire dales possibly east lakes to and south of the dales into Northern peak district

If UKV were to verify you wudnt rule out a covering for a time over the tops of the hills but as its only that model that long of a spell of snow on hills seems unlikely

There's now an Amber warning of snow for the North Yorkshire Moors and parts of the Yorkshire wolds could be quite significant considering the portential of 15-25cm at just 100m imagine if theres anywhere above 300m which there is in the Amber zone could be locally very significant @UKWeatherChase

Heavy wet snow right now in Stanton Hill Nottinghamshire as there is a dusting on grass there could be some proper accumulation at 300-400m in peaks maybe im at 180m ... some of the very highest points of Nottinghamshire as Silverhill at 204m down road
