A shopper paid at Walmart, chose a digital receipt, and then couldn’t get the doors or app to cooperate. She asked for help.

A Walmart associate wouldn’t let her leave. A bystander walked up and told the officer/security that there was still an “outstanding balance” / that she hadn’t paid. The officer repeated that line to her face: he didn’t think she paid.

She pushed back that the woman wasn’t even there when she checked out, that Walmart offers the digital option so a paper receipt failing to load isn’t her fault, and that being walked over and told she stole her own groceries was humiliating. Staff later pulled cameras and transactions. She had paid. When she asked for an apology, the officer said no and “good night.”

That’s the clip: paid customer, broken digital proof, a stranger’s accusation treated as fact, confirmation she was right, zero apology.

Walmart is not Costco or Sam’s Club. There is no membership contract that makes a receipt check a condition of shopping. In most states the door check is a request.

Shopkeeper’s privilege only lets them detain you if they have reasonable suspicion of actual theft — a refused receipt check by itself usually isn’t that.

Their own training has been reported as “if they walk past, let them go.”

Should people stop and show the receipt because it’s faster and keeps the peace, or walk past because they can?

Does this guard owe her an apology?

[sherlock💡 @itskwasi]

I think it’s reasonable for normal people to not wanna celebrate a nigga who murdered folks being found not guilty 😬

[Keith Flick @oz_copes]

It’s even crazier cause you know Durk did this shit

[museofthesun @solarystix]

Why is everyone cheering on a man with so many heinous charges? Free my people!

[DJ Akademiks @Akademiks]

Lil Durk next trial tentatively scheduled for Oct 5th and it’s surrounding a conspiracy VICAR charge connected to a different murder.

A 2022 murder of a Chicago man named “Stephon Mack”. It’s expected to be tried in-front of the same judge and the same venue.

[My Mixtapez @mymixtapez]

Lil Durk, Brian Steel, Drew Findling and Christy O’Connor all broke down in tears in court after Durk was found not guilty on all charges 🥹🙏

6ix9ine goes at Lil Durk after he was found not guilty in his murder for hire case

[FearBuck @FearedBuck]

Charleston White crashes out on Akademiks for helping Lil Durk get a not guilty verdict after Akademiks claimed the video evidence shown in court was scripted.

“It’s a black mother over there crying, we all know he was guilty AK, you the reason he got away ni—a. When the judge brought that sh-t up, when you said that sh-t was a script, you the one who f—ked this sh-t up AK, I swear to God ni—a, you the reason for the f—k up, you know how many victims you’ve hurt because of that AK… Until you came, and gave a public statement. Until you said what you said the jury didn’t need nothing, you wrong AK… Before you said what you said, the jury convened and the judge had to throw your name up in it and they said they was wrong, up until that point, you was the evidence they needed and had to convict him, and then you came with that bullsh-t, you saved that ni—a life my ni—a, and everybody know it, and I’m mad as a mf, I hope they slam that ni—a in the state court… DJ Akademiks, It’s some victim mothers who have buried their son to g-n violence and the people who have k-lled them get to rap and sing about it and you help them… The jury ain’t ask for no evidence until you did that sh-t, they filed that motion, and the judge had to make that statement infront of the jury. Your video was used as evidence as self-confession.”

[uBHEBHE🇿🇦 @nokwandamhlong0]

Quando Rondo refusing to take the stand against Lil Durk was NOT on my Bingo card 😭😭 Imagine the person who was supposedly going to go up there and sing like a bird actually refusing to testify, while Lil Durk’s own friends who were eating off his pockets had no problem taking the stand and turning against him 💔😭

[swiss bae 🇨🇩 @thekonyjen]

lil durk being found not guilty is absolutely bs

[The Chief ⚓️ @C2thaL2thaIGG]

So because I’m black and Lil Durk is black, I’m supposed to not want him held accountable for his actions if he’s proven guilty?

[Jerome @dragonitebull]

Remember the black community didn’t protest outside the courtroom for a honor roll student black young man but yall protesting for a rapper like lil durk who raps about killing other black men
