@StanMPonder Building relationships and trust is important. I was between 1:1s and culture. But I think having people feel seen and heard is what sets the foundation for influencing culture, suggesting process improvements and bigger business changes.
AI 🤝 Sports
IBM's AI tech will help expand coverage of this year's Wimbledon.
It's trained on the tournament's editorial style and will have access to match data. This allows for the quick coverage of stories that the content team might not have had the capacity to cover.
As quoted in the article, "this is about complementing the output of humans.”
The intersection of AI and one of the world’s most prestigious sporting events will open the doors for data-driven storytelling in fan engagement.

@calebmkeller Oh that’s interesting! Never thought about that. Is it a once time voice prompt or can you then comment back on the post it sends to create version 2?
@BlackJackJD Great points! Totally agree and would add it’s ok to start with the small version of that change too. And overtime it can grow into what you envisioned
@garyvee Page 121. Right in the middle of the nuts and bolts of the platforms.
Reading the book with the audio book. Killer combo with the visuals from the book and the off script segments of the audiobook
@sved_sh I like that viewpoint. Almost like getting bad reps (everyone is going to have them) out of the way so that when you have valuable information from a course, it is applied to a higher quality rep.
@PeterSFleeton Tip 2 is great! And I love that you showed that ideas come from research in your industry. So often it feels like people talk about ideation as pulling stories about your experiences from thin air.
@heymikeoneill Nice read. There is an important aspect for understanding the strategy for achieving what you want each piece of content to make your specific audience feel.
@sved_sh Agreed. In your opinion, do you think writing daily/in public has been more influential to improving the quality of your writing or has books/courses been more important to improving quality? Aka, reps are important but what's the secret sauce for improving the reps?
Struggling to get your ideas down on paper?
Before you sit down to write your atomic essay, try brain dumping.
This method has been a game changer to my process.
Brain dumping is the process of unloading all your thoughts on a topic. No structure. No grammar check. It prevents the paralysis that often comes with overthinking on a topic (guilty!).
But here's the twist I've been using.
Use a voice transcription app like Otter.
It lets you speak your thoughts out loud while out for a walk (wear your headphones, it'll look like a phone call). Then once you have your voice recording, upload to an AI tool (like ChatGPT). This is where the magic begins.
AI can analyze the transcript. It can answer questions you ask helping you to organize your thoughts and forming the structure for your atomic essay. This partnership connects your creativity with AI's power. It ensures your content is authentic and focused.
Let me know if you give it a try!
