@RohnWBishop From now on, please direct all inquiries about whether or not a
death is worthy of lowering the flag to future mayoral candidate, Mr. Rohn Bishop. A wonderful pro-life tweet, but is all life not valuable? If we can honor one, we can honor all.

Higher wages are a must if employers want their jobs filled. Covid job losses hit families with young children especially hard. If a job doesn't pay enough to afford childcare, parents cannot afford to get back to work.

This quote I shared in my high school year book seems especially fitting.
To the 11,674 voters that put your faith in me, one last thank you. This was the highest Democratic turnout in the 52nd in at least the most recent elections. The fight isn’t over; it’s just beginning.
I will never forget this experience. I am so touched by the outpouring of support. I will never be able to fully express my gratitude to you all. Just know that you have all inspired me to keep finding ways to fight for what I believe in.
Thank you to each and every person who voted, supported me, volunteered, put up a yard sign, told their friends about my campaign, contributed financially, and sent words of encouragement.
My hope is that now that the votes are in we can move forward together. To those who supported me, just because I did not win does not mean your voice is not important. Please remain engaged with your elected leaders. Write them, call them, continue to make your voices heard.
