We see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere. That's us, together, watching as our astronauts make their journey to the Moon.
@astro_anil@johnkrausphotos Love that! Thanks for the response. I feel like 38s were definitely more ‘important’ during the shuttle era when the spacecraft had more airplane like characteristics but the CRM aspect of it has to be one of the most important use cases!

@DJSnM Issues aside, the accident itself sounds like it was preventable. The aircraft sounds like it was still under positive control and there was nothing but pilot error that would have caused the actual crash
