@toasteredbread 6 months of talking therapies and I've given up. Told my therapist that I don't feel like I can be fixed and I worried I was wasting her time, she immediately discharged me without any discussion.
Absolute waste of time, definitely wouldn't recommend it.
Always nice when, in a Team meeting, your boss thanks your colleague for being so supportive and follows it up with, "No disrespect to Nicola, but she does work part-time and did have some annual leave, so ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ."
Yeah, so I don't work as hard as everyone else, I guess ๐.
Levels of saying โI want to leaveโ:
1. Sitting on edge of sofa
2. Looking at watch
3. Saying โis that the time?โ
4. Slapping thighs
5. Saying โrightโ
6. Placing mug near sink
7. Putting on coat
8. Saying โrightโ again
Youโre staying for at least another hour at this point.
@Dr2NisreenAlwan I rarely see anyone not wearing one. Most people seem to just get on with it, I don't think it's a fair assessment to imply that theres a particular issue in the UK, just a loud minority who need something to argue against ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ.
I wouldn't wish this feeling on anyone.
But this was one bad day, and at least social media apps can be muted& ignored& individuals blocked.
Many people work in public-facing jobs where they frequently experience this abuse face-to-face, often for things that are not their fault.
Toxic, embarrassing, disgraceful, appalling. Just some of the feedback Iโve had.
Thanks for using @ sign so itโs all hit home.
Now imagine getting inundated with abuse for doing your job.
In my car crying. Hope youโre happy
