🇨🇦🌍💻 : 100 former Global Affairs staffers, mostly women, accuse the Canadian government of discrimination.

I accused the government of the same thing in 2003 after Paul Martin placed a DEI hiring mandate for most government positions, even positions currently filled by qualified staff.

Of course these groups that seek out discrimination & racism in the Federal government did nothing to protect the union jobs of contract employees who were denied the right to re-apply for jobs they were already doing because of their race.

You could have all the security clearances needed, years of on the job experience & yet you would not be allowed to apply for the next contract, simply because you were a straight white (sometimes Asian) healthy male.

All discrimination based on race or gender is bad.

The most qualified and dedicated people should be hired. Not the people who best fit whatever DEI mandate the government puts in place.

Being straight or a male or a certain skin tone, has nothing to do with opening mail, redirecting phone calls, providing IT services or even working as a manager.

Anyone who says differently, is a racist or a sexist.
