So the local council have spent a lot of money putting in a bus lane that wasn’t needed on the A370 near ours. The buses can’t use it because it’s too narrow. Company that designed it used a narrower bus in the design apparently. Here’s a big bus not using the small bus lane.
Hey, @Steve4Yatton , @NorthSomersetC after months of roadworks and millions of pounds spent, why are the buses not using the new bus lane on the A370 at Brockley?
@NorthSomersetC Am I the only one to see the major flaw in the Smallway's plan for eastbound buses. By not allowing eastbound traffic to flow towards Yatton as current, and making the wait at the lights. Your buses will be queued back in the resulting traffic, unable to use the dedicated lane
@VMO2News@02 Sold off from VM to O2 so shareholders can make their mint, to an 'award winning network' and take on BT; unable to make call today due signal. Noticeably reduced compared with pre-23 network change by VM. Don't want priority gimmicks just good signal. Time to move.
@CotswoldLadyB I note you posted at 3:24am! Was that the point you woke up and scrambled to turn the thermostat down? As you say though....its a win-win. 👍
LET'S GET REAL... anti-litter signs are virtually useless at preventing littering. Large fines (£1,000+) AND compulsory enforcement by Councils WILL make a difference. At the moment, 72% of Councils don't enforce the law. We live in a state of 'litter-anarchy'.
