“But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength, they will rise up on wings as eagles, they will run and not be exhausted, they will walk and not be weary.” (Isa. 40:31 , BibleProject Translation)
Isaiah 40:31
Yet those who wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.
It’s a good reminder that you can just do stuff. How many positions of power in your community go by default to boomer libs because others don’t go for them?
One of my local national forests was advertising for board seats to vote on and direct rural funds within the forest. I emailed the FS and got a prompt reply. I was the only one who had reached out about the position. Previously, the board had mostly been retired hippies from the Bay Area who lived hours away. But because the law favors locals, come 2027, a local right wing conservation chud will be voting on directing those funds. It’s a very small amount of power. But it will only cost me 8 hours a year.
Find something to do. It’s easy to blackpill and feel demoralized when you focus on national level issues you have little influence over as a regular person. But what influence can you have locally? Even if it’s symbolic. Hell, my local water board hates our liberal state government so much they voted to secede. 😂 All momentum starts with a small movement. Find yours, American. 🇺🇸
@SamaHoole Water buffalo milk is delicious. We drank some this morning. It doesn't separate like cow's milk. Try it and you will wish it was more readily available.
There are 3 things going on. Temu Harry Potter et al are going to work for METR and need to build a government mandated demand for their services.
2 Palantir said what most companies are figuring out, Opensource Ai is better, cheaper and safer, for most paying customers. That is bad for a Closesource IPO and their business model. They need to kill Opensource Ai.
3 OpenAi (not to be confused with an open source Ai model) has admitting to committing multiple cyber crime felons, and they don't want to have to answer for those or the other millions they are planning on committing in the future.

Beamer, Rescorla, and Crowther embody the greatest teaching in human history. In Christ’s farewell discourse at the Last Supper according to the Gospel of John, he washes the feet as one of his final acts of service to his disciples and then says:
“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.”
There’s no better way to grieve our heroes than to take solace in the gospel of John in my opinion. See if it helps you on a tough day.
🚨 The Amish are not facing one isolated issue. They are being hit from multiple directions at once.
What my investigative series shows is a convergence of pressure on one of the most independent, least digitized, and least institutionally protected communities in America:
• public-health power
• targeted vaccine outreach
• pesticide exposure
• home-birth / midwife suppression
• land pressure & AI-driven development
• cultural and family autonomy under strain
This is why the Amish matter far beyond Pennsylvania.
If a state can pressure a community that still lives close to the land, educates locally, gives birth at home, and resists centralized systems, it is showing you a model that can be used far more broadly.
Health. Land. Family. Culture. Freedom.
Different people. The same American principles.

If you care about medical freedom, informed consent, family sovereignty, property rights, or the future of self-governing communities in America, this story concerns you.
The Amish are the canary in the coal mine.
The executive orders signed yesterday touch on issues many of us have fought for for YEARS.
Support from the president on enforcing Packers & Stockyards, common sense predator management, and MCOOL is TREMENDOUS.
We also had the chance to meet with him privately and give him our perspective on cattle country and the issues impacting the West and ranchers in America. He listened, asked detailed questions, and directed his team to take action.
This was all facilitated by Secretary Brooke Rollins.
Things get done by people who show up to the table. That was a room of real ranchers, real rural Americans, real voices. And those voices were heard.
I was profoundly aware that I was not there for myself. We represented our homes and neighbors and the way of life we love. Being invited, to me, meant inviting the rural West to the Oval Office. I take that extremely seriously.
More work to do. And now we get back to it.
The man, the myth, the legend, my good friend Casey Murph @caseymurph1
If this guy is in the Oval Office, you know something is going right in America!
It was the pressing down of any disagreement or question, it was the constant threat of violence, it was the destruction of the careers and lives of countless people (and the consequent evisceration of the entertainment industry), it was the the removal of choice for vaccines, it was the inflamation of racism, it was the neutering of law enforcement, it was the numbing of meritocracy, it was the dismantling of the spirit of quite a few cities (and the accompanying declining property values), it was the collapse of a political party, it was the crushing of common sense (particularly in the young), it was the ruin of university value, it was the end of trust in the media, it was the fostering of the most selfish era in modern society.
It was fascism, intolerance, and decidedly un-American. It was shameful and despicable.
It was not “bad tweets.”
