Finally made a collection of #geometrynodes assets called "Quick Scatter" for easier scene building after having to deal with a lot of vegetation scattering at work. #b3d

@oorph_ Your scenario isn't a niche secret trick you developed but unfortunately a pretty mainstream workflow.
Why would someone pay you to do it when they can do it themselves since there isn't a learning curve?
@blueish0930 How does it handle 2D filled in curves?
Sometimes I need to add stickers to stuff so I import the sticker svg into blender remesh it and then use shrinkwrap to stick it onto a model.
I once bought something similar to your remesher but the results were a bit bad in that usecase

@s7tmbr@DanyBittel Yep, to get small objects in focus you need to do focus stacking because at such sizes only a really small portion of the object is actually in focus.
That means that you need to capture the same photo (for each camera position) with slighty shifted focus distance multiple times.
@xyzdnd_3d Instancing, texture tiling, mesh decimation and texture compression.
There is something funky going on for these two scenes to be 3GB since I see a lot of repeating geometry which could use instancing.
The vegetation might be really heavy.
@CryptoCyberia That node tree looks very very very bloated and messy. What is up with that really long node in the repeat zone? Is it multiple stacked nodes?? Why!?
