@S_Fleary1 Why would they need to be housed in hotel spaces? There are many unoccupied homes all around the country. We also have temporary shelters such as tents. The country is also exploring container homes and other large-scale options. Using hotel space isn't practical.

@memonbersly @ach3im Nope, it is currently not possible. A big reason for this is the amount of energy that a storm of any magnitude possesses. Also, we have no way of manipulating them in any way as of now. They did try, but it is not possible

@Zamora4489 @quantscott @Starlink I am in Clarendon actually. So we felt strong winds and got good rainfall, but I think we were far enough away that the storm did not cause significant damage for a lot of this parish. However there are some areas that got hit harder in this same parish.
