@0xGeezer@Ankara_inc I make 60k a year, this is the most I've ever made. Wife did work a couple of jobs with kids where she could have the kids with her, but by and large she's been home with them. You can do it.
@CptJackKnob@5solas Regarding Restorationism, if I were you, I'd carefully weigh whether the church can universally fall into apostasy when Christ said the gates of hell would never prevail against the church.
@CptJackKnob@5solas Christian Church is the same Campbellism, just a touch more liberal. CC *can* have women preachers, although I think they're still uncommon. It's going to be up to each church, as I'm sure you know.
@CptJackKnob@5solas I've seen that quote attributed to Calvin, but can't find an exact citation. But it's simply a restatement of Scripture when it says "do not go beyond what is written".
@CptJackKnob@5solas Yes. I was in the Christian Church until 8. Then my family went to a Calvinistic Bible Fellowship church. I was there until I went to college, during which I spent 14 years in Presbyterian churches (EPC, then CREC). I'm now in a 1689 church. (Came out more Baptist than ever.)
@MistCorvid@haymes_joshua That religion is no more. It was fulfilled in 33AD and abolished in 70AD. What exists today does not resemble Judaism of 2100 years ago.
@KLASSIQTUNEZ Finally, the nail in the polygamist coffin comes from the Lord Jesus himself:
Do you not know that in the beginning God created them male and female? And the TWO shall become ONE flesh.
