From U.S. Religious Knowledge Survey conducted by the Pew Research Center:
1. Top Performers on the Bible: Latter-day Saints (often referred to as Mormons) scored the highest overall on questions specifically testing knowledge of the Bible.
2. Christianity Knowledge: Latter-day Saints ranked among the highest-scoring groups when specifically answering questions related to core Christian doctrines and the Bible. [1]
3. Overall Religious Literacy: When combining scores across all 32 religious knowledge questions, Latter-day Saints placed high overall, generally following closely behind atheists, agnostics, and Jews. [1]
My 12 year old grandson has never been taken to church. For the past 4 years he started telling him mom that he wanted to go to church and wanted to be baptized. Three weeks ago Missionaries were walking down his street In Herriman Utah and introduced themselves while he was playing basketball. He told them I know, I’m thinking of getting baptized. Yesterday my wife and I flew back to Florida from Utah. His other grandfather and I gave the talks at his baptism.
@RandomLDS I taught about 700 traditional christians on my The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints mission. Not one of them said they believed the Creed their church taught. Most said they believed the God Head to be three separate individual beings.
1 Peter is great. It tells us Christ preached to the disobedient dead and in chapter 4 vs 6 why he did it. It seems to insinuate that if we are not saved in this life there is another chance. The things taught in 1 Peter are many of the great doctrines of hope taught in the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The spirit is so strong in these scriptures.

I went to a small high school in St Cloud Florida in the late sixties. I road a bus every day to school from the Church’s ranch 35 miles away that we lived on. So many people lived on that ranch that we had a ward and a good group of good youth. Later in my life I have returned to that area and found out that over 37 kids from my time at the high school had joined the Church. Pleasant surprise.
