Bolton Wanderers 4-1 Stockport County

Bolton end their Championship absence in style. Rodrigues got their first and last, though Sidibeh brought the Hatters on terms in a frantic first half. However, an own goal and a Dalby stunner helped Wanderers to a deserved victory.

Hull City 1-0 Middlesbrough

Deserved.
Nothing on Boro, but Hull win promotion to the Premier League in dramatic style following the ‘Spygate’ drama. Oli McBurnie, who earlier headed against the bar, scrambled in a stoppage time winner.

Congratulations to Notts County who are off to Wembley for the League Two playoff final!

The Magpies drew 0-0 at home to rivals Chesterfield tonight at Meadow Lane but won the tie 1-0 on aggregate.

County are now one game away from a return to the 3rd tier of the football pyramid which they last played in back in 2015!

Notts County will now face Salford City at Wembley on May 25th.

Bradford City 0-1 Bolton Wanderers (POSF)

Bolton progress to Wembley after edging past Bradford. The Bantams hit the bar twice, but were limited to efforts from distance to try and force extra-time. And Bolton killed the tie with 10 to play through Xavier Simons.

Stockport County 2-0 Stevenage (POSF)

Stockport are off to Wembley again!
This tie was over after half an hour thanks to excellent goals from Louie Barry & Kyle Wootton. Stevenage were better in the second half, but never looked like coming back.
