What makes this fight interesting (apart from the skill of the athletes & the quality of the fight itself) is the American social context it took place in. America in the 80s, the Bronx is burning , the war on drugs and the start of Reaganomics.

In terns of star power , controversy and the feeling of a big tournament 2006 no doubt, but outside of Italy V Germany most games were dull and devoid of entertainment. 2022 gave us the most goals and far more entertaining games.

@TaylorOnSport The aesthetic is cool also, the Japanese script, the logos and use of colour in branding and gloves is pretty cool. The layout of the gyms are also great visually
