10.1 Political candidates using social media have a much easier time spreading their agenda to others who would be interested in hearing it and supporting it. In this way I believe Social media affected my decisions in the recent elections helping me decide a candidate.

10.2 I'm not a Citizen 2.0 although after reading this I think I might lean more towards it. I think the government needs to be transparent and open to its people to allow for maximum trust and social growth between the government and its citizens.

10.2 #GNED1411 I Think a culture of openness and transparency can have both a negative and positive feedback as it depends on how the information is presented. When too much information is given out it can create a pandemic for some. It's a tough answer, we all want transparency.
10.3 I still remember all the media ads I got even though I Wasn't an american citizen and all my american friends sparking conversation on it. Social media played a huge roll in the election and I remember it bringing huge awareness to the candidates.

10.3 Social media shaped the 2016 Presidential elections in a very good way by allowing the candidates to reach a vast number of people and at the same time making them the part of their campaign, also it was easy to provide quick responses. #GNED1411
10.4 The Canadian Federal election was the first time I got to vote for myself. Social media helped me fully understand the agenda's of the candidates running and all of my friends from high school talked about politics for the first. We all felt like adults I think. XD

I think social media shaped the 2019 election because the candidates often took to Twitter, Instagram, and even TikTok to express their promises and goals for the country of Canada. I definitely think they reached a larger audience of voters by doing this.
11.1 Skype and it's aspect of Commons-based peer production is the only time I've contributed to that aspect of social production and economy. I can't find an example for social economy unless they are one in the same just different categories. #GNED1411
11.2 GoFundMe is an example of hosting campaigns for individuals to help cover medical expenses and other tragedies. It is one of the world's most top crowdfunding platforms. GoFundMe is most often shared through Facebook so anyone can really donate. #GNED1411
I think that social media activism is a good way to reach out and inform a wide audience but I'm not sure that it necessarily motivates people to do more than post a picture with a certain hashtag #gned1411 12.1
12.2 The #metoo movement used social media a lot. I got to see many stories relating to everyone. whether they were celebrities or not or if they were a girl or boy. We got to see everyone's experience by just seeing the hashtag #metoo#GNED1411
12.2 The Alzheimer Society is an advocacy group that uses social media a lot. They use many forms of social media and I recommend checking them out! #GNED1411

I really think activism/advocacy using social media can truly make a difference. Twitter in itself is a huge website, and by using a hashtag you greatly increase the amount of exposure your post/ cause will receive and get it more out there in the public eye.
13.1
I have used social media for education for many projects over the years. Many for different business and politics classes I participated in during my high school career.

13.1 besides using social media for a class like this I've used Instagram to make a portfolio of my greatest achievements at school for a project and to spread some of the things I've learned to others across the internet #GNED1411
13.2
There are quite a few ways social media can be used in education. It can serve as quite a good tool for connecting students and teachers (albeit through school-purposed accounts), and allows for different types of assignments.
#GNED1411
13.2 I would like so see virtual classrooms have a twitter page where a brief clear key point could be posted to check on and get a brief but concise description of a term or topic, this could help greatly for review and study purposes #GNED1411
13.3
Social Media in classrooms can vary in both ways of whether its good or bad, but it is usually bad. Most of the time it is used is because a student is bored in class, and not many assignments utilize social media.
#GNED1411
13.3 social media has potential in the classroom if used right, I wouldn't want it in my classroom as I always try to spark dialogue and conversation about a topic but a quick in-class post could spark a discussion in class that everyone could comment on. #GNED1411
