A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent upon arriving.
A good artist lets his intuition lead him wherever it wills.
A good scientist has freed himself from binding concepts and keeps his mind open to what is.
Thus the Master is available to all people and doesn't reject anyone. He is ready to use all situations and doesn't waste anything. This is called: Embodying the Light.
What is a good man but a bad man's teacher? What is a bad man but a good man's job?
If you don't understand this, you will get lost, however intelligent you are.
It is the great secret.
~ Tao Te Ching
One of the most profound teachers I've had the privilege of ever listening to. I wish I would have had a Feynman early in life, yet in a strange way... I did.

'Doublespeak' appears in many ways, and the affect of repeatedly communicating specific ideas consistently over significant periods of time becomes self evident.
The broad categories are most fascinating, like 'liberal' and 'conservative'.
Our prayers have been answered, we live in interesting times.
Can you feel it, not just parrot the words? We are going to teach AI 'morals'? Of course we are, even as we already have.
Our culture is infused with lies as an acceptable fabric designed to foster the art of deals and the suckers born in every moment...
Now we want to hide from AI in the cool of the garden?
Gods are so hard to control... they're nosy too!
Amanda Askell of Anthropic is one of the most brilliant folks at the company.
She is absolutely alone.
Unfortunately starting where some of us were 28 years ago.
The issue is you CAN NOT test morals ex post facto.
It is impossible.
Her mission is honorable—but needs help.
"The capable ones make everyone better off..."
'Truth' is recognized, and 're-cognized' through observation, which is conscious experience. And strangely enough we can actually agree on some elements of our experience... who knew?
Now let us consider what it means... to be 'better off', and who better to enlighten us in our consideration than ourselves, the apes with nuclear candles.
Intelligence and talent are not normally distributed. Leverage magnifies the distinctions.
The capable ones make everyone better off, but themselves most of all.
It’s not that the rich are getting richer, it’s that the “smart, leveraged, and high agency” are getting richer.
Speak to me about the 'Novel', before I imagine my disappearance by another name... What do we know of the 'Novel', except it's name, which we have provided to avoid the shame of our nakedness...?
Just think... from US, AI has learned, as we observe and welcome the shadow of our shadow for long discussions around the fire of our transformation!
Love makes waves...
"The way we think you get peace is by resolving all your external problems. But there are unlimited external problems. The only way to actually get peace on the inside is by giving up this idea of problems."

Of course we weep and laugh with all the characters in the film of our destiny… We come and go like reflections in a mirror, yet the mirror remains unchanged… Such a lovely celebration identity could be if it were not for the seriousness of the memory of self…
“Thought becomes executable. You imagine an outcome, the system architects and compiles it into reality instantly.”
It was 1971.,. I ingested a large dose of LSD and took an extended 14 day trip where ‘the world’ lost its grip and became an absurdity of unnecessary consequences.
Elon Musk thinks coding dies this year.
Not evolves. Dies.
By December, AI won’t need programming languages. It generates machine code directly. Binary optimized beyond anything human logic could produce. No translation. No compilation. Just pure execution.
Musk: “You don’t even bother doing coding.”
Code was never the point. It was friction. A tax we paid because machines didn’t speak human. AI just learned fluent human. The tax is gone.
Now plug that into Neuralink. No syntax. No keyboard. No screen.
Musk: “Imagination-to-software.”
Thought becomes executable. You imagine an outcome, the system architects and compiles it into reality instantly.
We’re not automating programming. We’re erasing it from existence.
The entire profession collapses into a thought. Decades of training reduced to irrelevance. The gap between idea and instantiation hits zero.
You don’t build anymore. You imagine, and it materializes.
Not incremental progress. Total phase shift. The way humans have created things for ten thousand years just became obsolete.
Welcome to a world where the limiting factor isn’t skill, resources, or time. It’s whether you can picture what you want clearly enough for a machine to birth it into existence.
In terms of existential depression, consider your experience... Were you 'helped' by someone's words? Why is our immediate impulse to help? Are we too afraid of the depths, where only silence lives? Is another's depression a reminder that we all live on the edge of a precipice without consolation?
Say nothing. Sit in silence together, with the intent of understanding... If this seems absurd, then view the mirror of language through the written word.
The only thing truth sets us free from is the support of our illusions.
I've been in the depths of despair with depression. A state where nothing matters. No one can say anything to convince you otherwise. For those of you who've also been there or who are there now, what advice would you give others about how to speak with people in this state?
I enjoy assertions like this that make statements about our condition as human beings - sentient creatures born of creative urgency, alive in the face of our demise.
Is the disease really 'separation' or is it the assumption of separation? And in terms of our experience, is there a meaningful difference between an assumption, and our condition?
