Rest in peace “Ustaz” Moayad. I have great memories from working with you in Syria office. Your contributions have made a lasting impact on WFP and the lives you touched.
الله يرحمك ويصبر اهلك يارب
I strongly condemn the ruthless murder of our @WFP team member in #Yemen today.
Moayad was a dedicated humanitarian. He served WFP with tireless commitment for 18 years in Sudan, Syria & Iraq.
Those responsible must be held accountable. Aid workers should never be a target.
Absolutely terrifying language used by Turkish presidential candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu against refugees.
His entire campaign has been solely built on "giving back the streets to their owners".
Kılıçdaroğlu even blamed refugees for drought and water scarcity in the country.

Turkey is gridlocked with rescue efforts while areas surrounding Syrian rubble are ghost towns
“They are sending us children diapers while our children are still under the rubble”
A few heartbreaking words said by a woman from Atarib town in Aleppo on BBC radio. #SyriaTurkeyEarthquake
Syrians travelling between cities in Turkey require permission by the authorities before doing so, exactly like a visa to move from one country to another.
It's hard to fathom how this is not lifted right now, (and why this discriminatory rule is there in the first place...)
We spoke to #refugee children from Afghanistan, Syria and Ukraine on what it was like to start school after fleeing from conflict and crisis.
This #EducationDay, watch & share their stories:
„Wir wollen Teil der Debatte sein, wir wollen uns einbringen und mitmachen – aber auf Augenhöhe.“
Heute hat in Berlin der Second Summit of #Refugees and #Migrants mit mehr als 80 Teilnehmern aus 28 Ländern begonnen. Das Ziel: Mitgestaltung. @EucEuropean#Refugees#UNHCR
